Great post. That kick today was unbelievable. Straight down the middle from 58 yards. Easily good from 65. It was bonkers.

For real. Huge moment in the game, and his longest kick to date. He just smoked it.

One of the prettiest kicks I’ve seen in awhile. Like a well oiled machine lol

He kind of started out as a desperate last hope, didn't he? I figured there would be a long line of disappointing, inconsistent hopefuls.

He seemed like a last ditch effort when the other guy tanked.

When he started out, wasn't he missing about 50% of his kicks in the first two days. something like that, I forget.

He missed that first extra point and confirmed what many thought they knew. Today, they know that they didn't know or could even imagine.

Didn't he just kind of appear, all of a sudden?

I was wrong too… He and Vizcaino both looked bad during TC— although Aubrey started to lock in after Vizcaino was cut.

The staff clearly believed in him, and he has certainly proven his value.

As an aside— Bones Fassel is having an awesome year overall. Special teams are contributing significant value this year, and he is a big reason why

I thought someone posted last week that if he made 2 FGs, he ties NFL record for most NFL FGs made without a miss by a rookie? Haven't seen anything about it since.

This is really big because so far, outside of the Chargers game, we haven't depended on his kicks to win or lose games. But we will at some point.
