He kind of started out as a desperate last hope, didn't he? I figured there would be a long line of disappointing, inconsistent hopefuls.

He seemed like a last ditch effort when the other guy tanked.

When he started out, wasn't he missing about 50% of his kicks in the first two days. something like that, I forget.

He missed that first extra point and confirmed what many thought they knew. Today, they know that they didn't know or could even imagine.

Didn't he just kind of appear, all of a sudden?

The training camp thing was bogus. They knew what they were doing the entire time.

Doesnt get talked about at all but the guys kickoffs are darn near automatic touchbacks. Not even sure they need to put 11 guys on the field.

The touchbacks also help prevent injuries.

Not for nothing but you should never be attempting 58 yard field goals that early in the game. Was a stupid decision to kick there.
