If you was a fan of another team you would be saying Tony Romo sucks.

No I wouldn't, because I have the ability to tell the difference between starting caliber QBs and cheese like Tebow whether I like the team they play for or not, or whether they've won a championship.

I don't like the Steelers or Ben Rothlisberger, but I think he's a good QB. Meanwhile, I don't like the Giants or Eli Manning, and I think he's a mediocre QB.

Same with Tebow. I like him better than most players in this league, but I don't think he's good at all, I don't think he's some magical "winner", and that has nothing to do with my Cowboys fandom.

The problem with Tebow is his mechanics, his throwing motion is way to wide and he winds up to throw the ball like a pitcher does. This translate to an extra 1/2 second in his release. This is no big deal in college, but in the pros an extra 1/2 second in delivery time is the difference between a TD and an INT.

Tebow will never succeed in the NFL until he fixes his throwing mechanics.

I am not writing them off just yet. That would be a colossal mistake. Chip Kelly is a good coach. He proved himself early unlike our current coach who took a few years of OJT before he looked okay and the jury is still out on Garrett to see if he can sustain what he FINALLY showed last year.

What Tebow has learned is what so many others have learned...it's one thing to change the mechanics in practice, but in a game it's very difficult to not revert back.

Supposedly Romo had a pretty big windup and that is what he focused on for 3 years while he was on the bench and then got it.

He also can't read defenses and holds on to the ball too long. That is why he gets sacked so many times.

It's clear most people in here don't realize how truly awful Matt Barkley is. Tebow may not be a legit NFL starter but he sure makes a better #3 than Barkley does.

Half the league has lousy starting quarterbacks, and people in here are obsessing over Philly's #4 who may work his way up to #3 by September. I just don't understand all the hate.
