Hurd Or Austin Who Wins?

Who do you guys think will end up winning the third WR roster spot, Hurd or Austin?


JMHO, I think Hurd has the edge but looks to be to close to call for now. I will be pulling for Hurd because I think he has shown some ability in his limited time on the field.

Who wins? Hurd or Austin?

Austin will get cut. His WR skills is skeptical at best and he will be replaced at return man. Whats the point of having a return man that doesn't return kicks?

This is kind of tough. Hurd is the more polished player and should get the job, but Austin is the speed guy that could add another dimension to the offense. I think they will share the job and even take some reps from Crayton.

TO, Crayton, Hurd, Austin and Stanback.

Outside chance we keep six and then it's Amendola.

Hurd. I like what he brings to the table. He's not flashy, but he gets the job done. Ain't nothing wrong with that.

Austin will make the team and be used in situations. I just hope we don't get predictable. E.g., "Here comes Austin; it's either a reverse to him or he is going on a fly pattern."

You're on him in every WR discussion. You make it a point to bash him at every opportunity.

Why the hate? He's a Cowboy player. He was very raw as a rookie. He's made nice strides since his rookie year.

That being said, Hurd wins.....easily....for the first half of the year.

I think Austin will slowly work his way onto the field. By the end of the year I think he and Hurd steal some reps from Crayton.

Austin is reportedly having a good camp. He's catching the ball better.

Hurd is reportedly having a fantastic camp. I think he'll start pushing Crayton.

Of course, we still have four preseason games I'm anxious to see how both play.

But let's not leave Stanback totally out of the equation. If he can continue his development....wow....

I dont think Sam Hurd is the only guy that will get rotation in the slot this year.

Austin is going to get some PT this year.

Hes to big, fast, and agile just to not try and get the ball in his hands.

Guys like Amendola, Bradford, and Jefferson do.
