UPDATE......XRAY unclear....probably the dreaded High ankle sprain...will rehab a couple of weeks. Will probably miss at least the first regular season game.

Will know more at a later time.

I put this on our dumb HC. 1st he has our starting LG playing in the 4th quarter of a preseason game. than he has our #3 wr playing in the final preseason game when our #4 and 5 wrs are already hurt. this guy needs to stick to Defense and leave the O all up to Garrett.

Everyone needs to calm down... Yes, it sucks that Hurd is hurt.

But we're lucky T.O. and Crayton are still healthy. As long as it stays that way, we'll be okay.

Hurd, Austin, and Stanback could ALL be back after the first month of the season. Maybe sooner, maybe a little later in Hurd's case.

But guess what? This team is good enough to overcome those injuries. We'll start out 4-0 or 3-1 and our injured WRs will be back soon. I'm not worried.

Now, if T.O. or Crayton go down? Then I'll worry.

In his defense, they wanted to know if Bartel had anything. That would be hard to do if he only threw to guys who would be on the street in two days. He had to have at least a couple of guys who could run the correct routes and give him a chance to compete.

Looks like Rudy will make the team after all.
But Lowber seems to be the practical choice.

Um, let's just give ol' Joe Horn a call. Sign him cheap and make him practice fodder until Hurd, Stany or Miles comes back.

In the meantime, pray that T.O. and Crayton stay healthy.

Honestly, what is Stanback? Is he really any better than Amendola? He has all this potential that he has never even come close to meeting. He gets hurt anytime he plays in more than five snaps.
