Cavanaugh/Braoddus both say it is GREAT to win meaningless games but this is hurting the team overall. The offense is poor and lacks scoring ability.

"So while short-term Dallas fans wants wins now, hurts the future team. Dallas is playing their way out of better players."

Then they both stated: "Dallas has a phobia with DL. If you taken Hutchinson instead of Taco, you have a better taste with Michigan players"

So they are team tank ... they do not know or understand competitive sports. Like many fans.

So fans want players and a FO and coaches that give up on the season. Many players are playing for new contracts with Dallas, or another team. As well as pride.
Also many players have contract incentives.
I remember years ago, a player needed a certain percentage of plays to get like a $500,000 bonus. Dallas was out of the playoffs. But Jerry and the coaches wanted that player to play to get that bonus.

Drafting 8th or 15th is not going to put this team in the SB.

I do not want a team or players that quits.

Totally agree with them.

Sad how so many refuse to understand basic understanding or have common sense.

Drafting 8th allows you to trade down to 15th or later while you pick up an extra 3rd or 4th and 5th round picks, something the Cowboys seriously need since Jerry has already traded away our early 4th and 6th round picks on bum players.

We do not know they are bum players. They need to see the field.

How are they any more of a bum than the injured 4th round player costing us players with a humongous contract. Who also was having a bad year.
That is more costly than a few extra draft picks.

To hell with them and anyone that agrees that short term fans want to win now. Been here since 1974 and I want to win now and later. Losers don't mind losing, they think a high draft pick will fix it and then when we get that pick, they'll call him a bust. Those are wannabe Miserable-now, fans. They'd make me sick, if they weren't so comical.

The only problem with this is the people that are doing the drafting have been rebuilding for three decades. To which I ask does it really matter where they draft with this FO?
Reply: No because that is why this franchise has not seen a NFC Conference game in those three decades. When the franchise keeps rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic, you see season after season, the sinking ship.

You are only catching part of the problem with a soft tank. The biggest effect is upon the delusional ownership group who will think that we have the pieces here to compete down the road. It's not really hard to understand why so many of us would prefer losses

Sad how many do not understand what I posted above.

COMPETITIVE SPIRIT.

Do you want a team that tells the players to quit just to get 2 slots higher in the draft.
Answer: The coaches want to win but the players want to win MEANINGFUL game because if they get hurt playing meaningless games, their careers get shorten. Players will naturally protect themselves. It is a human response. Ask yourself, if you are retiring you will never saying you don't care. It is called "silently quitting". You are not working hard as you did last year because you are leaving.

The ownership is extremely limited and that's always been the problem. No matter their good fortunes, they'll manage to screw it up. Top pick or not. 29 years of futility and counting.

Bryan likes winning more than tanking and makes fun of Jeff.

If they had competent people in charge tanking would be worth it but with the low IQ inbred family it really doesn't matter. Draft 8th or draft 15th you know they'll find a way to waste the pick plus the loser culture is well established and here to stay, no player is changing that. Let the short-sighted instant gratification junky kool-aid drinking fans have they fun while it lasts, this team is doomed anyway.

You explain to the team why it's important to tank and secure a top 10 pick. It's to help the team out much better in the draft.
