Hurt Longterm

So they are team tank ... they do not know or understand competitive sports. Like many fans.

So fans want players and a FO and coaches that give up on the season. Many players are playing for new contracts with Dallas, or another team. As well as pride.
Also many players have contract incentives.
I remember years ago, a player needed a certain percentage of plays to get like a $500,000 bonus. Dallas was out of the playoffs. But Jerry and the coaches wanted that player to play to get that bonus.

Drafting 8th or 15th is not going to put this team in the SB.

I do not want a team or players that quits.
You don’t comprehend well.

Realistic fans can hope for competitive losses AND the players can and will keep playing hard.

Also there is a big difference between picking #8 in every round and picking #15. Your team has a much better chance to get better players statistically picking #8!!

Their pride gets in the way of common sense understanding.

Only fans care about what fans want. The coaches and players play for money. They have huge incentives to win and play well. They are all playing for bonuses and future contracts.

My comprehension is just fine. A team tanking on purpose at this point is sheer stupidity thoughts from a team. I understand fans wanting to lose. I am talking about fans blaming the team for not tanking.

If you communicate with the owner and they agree tanking is best to help rebuild the team and if you want to keep your job, of course.
 :lmao:
Jones....lose on purpose and I'll extend your contract.

Player....yes sir!

Jerry...come to my office and bring your playbook.....not only are you a loser, you're stupid too.

Exactly. But many refuse to understand this. Probably because they can’t.

If they had competent people in charge tanking would be worth it but with the low IQ inbred family it really doesn't matter. Draft 8th or draft 15th you know they'll find a way to waste the pick plus the loser culture is well established and here to stay, no player is changing that. Let the short-sighted instant gratification junky kool-aid drinking fans have they fun while it lasts, this team is doomed anyway.
Was Parsons a wasted pick? When they took Elliott at 4, they went 13 and 3 the following year. Was Zach Martin a bad pick? Was Tyron Smith a bad pick? How about Lamb?

Totally agree with them.

Sad how so many refuse to understand basic understanding or have common sense.
what do you expect a player to do, fumble, not jump on a fumble, not score a TD, Aubrey to miss deliberately?

"Tanking" is an online dream preached by non-competitive people who likely never played anything more than houseleague.

To hell with them and anyone that agrees that short term fans want to win now. Been here since 1974 and I want to win now and later. Losers don't mind losing, they think a high draft pick will fix it and then when we get that pick, they'll call him a bust. Those are wannabe Miserable-now, fans. They'd make me sick, if they weren't so comical.

The coaches and players should try to win. It’s their job and they should always be trying to get better.

But it’s also correct for fans or media to point out that these wins are ultimately meaningless and the team would likely be better off long term if they were losing them.

Both can be and are true at the same time.

Also, it seems like some fans don’t understand that some fans rooting for losses doesn’t actually impact the team or the game on Sundays.

And some fans think that whining and crying about Dak and Jerry and not losing on purpose is gonna change things... they need to get over it! Lol
