Hurts is predictable...yeah sometimes he throws, and sometimes he hands it off. Very predictable. lol
It’s not good.
They have been building that roster all over (same with Giants) but we have been banking on bad QB play for them.
Coaching matters doesn’t it?
Hurts is a legit running back playing QB.Dak doesn't have hurts speed unfortunately....he can move some but he's not a running qb
I think you can bait him into some bad plays.
Hurts may be predictable, but when he runs it doesnt matter. He also has AJ Brown to throw to. There's a lot of room for error with a receiver like that.
And...he squats better than 600 lbs and he is hard to bring down. At the moment he is a bus driver but he has potential to be so much more. Make no mistake, hes going to be tough to contain.Problem is he has all the time in the world and excellent scheme.
Goedert is looking all pro this year too
It coincides with Hurts getting better and also having AJ Brown do account for.
Ya know you typically look at the coach/QB combo to figure out a teams chances. For sure it does, Keeping Hurts out of bad situations helps with everything including his confidence. They play to thier strengths and thats what good coaches do.
No he isn’t.
In no way did I ever predict he would be able to throw this well.
And sometimes he keeps it himself. I should be the DC for us. Before every play I would tell our defense, look, I've narrowed it down to 3 possibilities. Oh, wait a second, is a flea flicker a handoff and a pass?Hurts is predictable...yeah sometimes he throws, and sometimes he hands it off. Very predictable. lol
He's developed rapidly as a passer since his junior year in college. Lost his job to Tua and did great at Oklahoma. He will only get better. His work ethic has few rivals and his physical traits/intangibles make him a very dangerous player moving forward. His improvement in the passing game has progressed rapidly. It’s been a surprise. He’s being well coached and developed so far
Just needs to be mobileDak doesn't have hurts speed unfortunately....he can move some but he's not a running qb
Why do the Eagles keep getting coaches that can scheme such easy plays for their qbs? All they usually have to do is pass to a wide open WR or RB who has a bunch of blockers ahead, so a 4 yard pass goes for 20+. Then once in a while take a deep shot to a top WR. It's been this way since Chip Kelly, DP and now Sirianni. Whereas our qbs mostly have to fit it into tight windows on long drawn out plays.
If we don't think Dak can compete with the elite qbs when it comes to arm ability, he needs an OC from that Andy Reid tree that makes qbs like Wentz and Hurts look like MVP players.
…...but it’s very TBD if that game will be on the road.
