Hurts more than likely will play against the Giants this week

The iggles are stuck between a rock and a hard place; they can't just forfeit this game because they need to win. And with Hurts already being out several weeks and potentially getting another two weeks off due to a bye, they don't want him going into the playoffs cold. And then you risk him getting Hurt again this week if you play him. ......tough, but glad its not my problem.

I think they would've rather rested him this week and then be rusty for playoffs.

I'm pretty sure rest is the primary prescription for his injury. Now he has to come back probably sooner than they'd like, and he doesn't have as great of protection with Johnson out.

Hurts is a better passer than the likes of RG3 and Cam yet people just want to lump him in there with them so they can downplay how well he has played for whatever reason. Is Tad a poster on here? There's a lack of objectivity on this forum but that's usually the case...
Ummm. Cam Newton in his prime was 10 times the passer Hurts is. Are you ok? lol

Jack Driscoll was getting beat badly by New Orleans
Don’t think he sees the field this week. I believe Mailata and Dillard will be the tackles. There was talk of Mailata moving to the right side for the game. I don’t think he ever played RT.

Cam Newton has a mighty 60% career completion percentage and a TD to INT ratio of 1.6 to 1. He had one very good year. I’d roll with Hurts.

Not sure why they would move Mailata to RT when the LT spot is critical.

Dillard was supposed to be the LT of the future. It was hoped that if Mailata developed well, he would be the swing tackle and eventually take over for Johnson. Mailata took reps at both positions, Dillard did not. No one expected Mailata to beat out Dillard to be Peters replacement, but Dillard had a slow start in his rookie season, while Mailata, tossed into the fire, did better than expected. That’s why Mailata became the LT. Dillard became the backup, while Driscoll became the RT backup. After watching Driscoll get lit up against the Saints, they may be thinking that putting someone at RT with no experience is not a good idea.

Jalen Hurts is listed as questionable. Could very well come down to a game time decision depending on how his shoulder injury looks and feels on Sunday.
