I suspect this is close to being what we can expect. Though, I think we will see the Nickel used a lot with the way offenses are.

If Mike McCarthy tries to push his agenda to fix his hurt ego, reports will come out during training camp of stars players revolting and calling for his job. Jerry has no issue firing McCarthy and rolling w/ Moore as the new HC with Quinn as a mentor?

Mike McCarthy and the Jones boys have a vision of how this DEF should be constructed. That was decided when McCarthy interviewed for the job. It seems that vision is still in place. Players will be signed with the ability to play multiple positions in the front. There will be some 3-4 looks in this DEF. Technically it is a hybrid.

The Jones could care less what defense the coaches use.

I’m also not sure if it isn’t what is best for today’s NFL.. Just hold teams to 3 while your offense scores Touchdowns. The current NFL is not built for teams to play great defense.
