That team would absolutely, from a talent standpoint, have some serious contention ability.
No trite response about Garrett or Romo.
I think that line would cover up a lot of weaknesses.
I think they could go to and win a Superbowl.

Great DL - but I am beyond the point where I think JG can coach a Superbowl winning team.

First off, If JG is HC I have doubts offensively. I think we would be much better defensively. But championship level? I don't think so. I think our problems go beyond defensive line.

If the DBS can adjust their play to having a defensive line that'll create pressure and we become a run first team..I'd like to think we'd at least make the NFC championship.

It's a hypothetical question. I didn't specify the coaching staff.

Yeah, but we all know how these threads will go. You can ask the time of day, and you get can it play OL, or Garrett can't coach, or JJ sucks..LOL
Great DL by the way.

As some should realize, sometimes talent makes the coach look good. Winning makes the coach look good.

I'd freaking hope they'd be competitive with a dream team DL.

Which of those linemen do we pick first? Do we take the 2nd best DE or the best DT in 2014 draft?

The killer Oline would maybe overcome the weak safeties.
The offense is already good enough if paired with those guys

On paper that team would run through the league, throw in coaches like Garrett and they're a 7 loss team

we are so horrible we have to create teams that will never exist, ask questions that should never happen, than try to get excited over that, wow.. has this base sunk

No. I've said this a few times before. It takes a great coaching staff to put that talent together and point it all in one steadfast direction. My lack of confidence in the coaching piece leaves plenty of doubt even given that all star DL.

I've actually argued something similar with fans. We sit here year in and out and talk about how we need to upgrade this position and when we do it then another position needs to be upgraded. Everytime we fix one leak we have another one created.

I personally think the culture around this organization....they would still underachieve. Its not that this team hasn't ever had enough talent to win a Super Bowl. It constantly underachieves. It had 13 Pro Bowlers one year and 13 wins and lost in the 1st round to the Giants who went on to win the Super Bowl.
