Hypothetical Question - Could the Cowboys Win the Super Bowl with this roster?

Nope. That roster wouldn't win a Super Bowl with Jason Garrett at the helm.

He couldn't run the drive-thru at McDonalds. We have lost games the last three years in ways that I have never even dreamed of and it's all been because of his leadership.

Yep, that Ivy League know-it-all is hopeless and it wouldn't matter who he had playing for him. The clown is way in over his head.

Spot him a 23 point lead at halftime..........it doesn't matter.
Can he ice his own kicker..........oh yea he can.
Lose games to the Lions when it's pretty much over.......check.

I'm 31 years old. I vaguely remember the 1-15 season. I cut my teeth with Jimmy running the team. I remember beating the Bears in 91' in the wildcard game and then losing to Kramer and the Lions in the Divisional playoff game. After that I grew up on Jimmy Johnson orchestrating a team that went on to dominate.......a dynasty.

That's what we need. We need a guy to come in here and know how to bring in talent and then know how to coach talent with a swagger.

Do you all really think that this loser we have coaching this team is anything close to that? Does it really matter if we had a stacked roster with this guy coaching the team?

The only way that roster would win the Superbowl with Garrett as HC is if they bulldoze every opponent. If any games were close and required good coaching to get the win, we would be in SERIOUS trouble. That being said, a roster like that is our best shot of winning a SB with Garrett as HC.

That team would absolutely, from a talent standpoint, have some serious contention ability.
No trite response about Garrett or Romo.
I think that line would cover up a lot of weaknesses.
I think they could go to and win a Superbowl.

Yes. That plus all the stars aligning, a little luck and an opportunistic defense.

with that DL? There would be WAY more 3&outs and we would have the ball more on offense...yes, with that roster, I think we go to and win the SB (hypothetically),,,the pressure provided by that DL takes a lot of decision-making out of the equation...the coaches wouldn't matter

I think so. That team would be pretty dominant. With that DL and offense, the questionable safeties wouldn't matter much. The Cowboys were 8-8 with an absolute joke of a defense. Put a good defense with this offense and it's possibly the best team in the NFL.

With that DL? Certainly. It would just be a matter of health and playing your best football down the stretch.
