I want Barber to remain the backup or atleast split carries with a SPEEDY starter.

Julius as backup does nothing for us - he had his chances to shine with Bill and post Bill in a non-robot approach.

Everyone wants Barber as a starter but I think his best roll is coming off the bench and literally being a human shot of adrenaline.

I do want him to get more touches than last year but bring him off the bench.

No, this draft class is deep and Dallas needs to get younger and get a RB that complements Barber. Barber is like what Jacobs is to the Giants, now we need a Bradshaw.

I'll be honest.

We have 2 open positions at RB. You can either fill both with rookies which I'm not real comfortable with or you can fill 1 with a vet and 1 with a rookie. Why throw money at an aging vet from another system is you can have Jones back for the right deal and still be able to draft a RB?

In the right situation with no promises and for the right price I would prefer to have Jones back and draft a RB then any of the other options avaliable.

I would, i still think Julius is great at screens, draws and dump offs and can pick up the blitz.

I think people are too hung up on "labels" - - "starter" "backup"
Once the game starts IT HAS STARTED.... anyone who comes in should contribute.

Just as we(and other teams) have situational pass rushers.... we have a situational Rusher

I'll be honest, I didn't read through this whole thread. This was as far as I had to go. I wouldn't be against re-signing Jones at all. But, it wouldn't preclude me from selecting the best back available for the value of the pick this upcoming April.
