Henry has had the Demarco Murray treatment the past few years.
I still think he's very good, but I'm not sending a DE and a 2nd for him.
Armstrong isn't some great player, but he's a good 3 down DE, and we need depth there.

a 2nd and Armstrong for Henry and his $10M salary? Heck no. Our RB room isn't what's keeping us from winning anything. Probably a 3rd with no Armstrong I'd think about it IF Tenn pays half his salary.
It was more to get a conversation going with the thread. I in no way would give up a second for Henry.

In all honesty. Brian Burns is who I would be making a hard move for. Especially with LVE out long term.

Well. Its Monday. I am bored. So I tried this trade out and it seemed to work.

Let me know what you all think.

Dallas receives
Derrick Henry
Tennesee Receives
Dorrance Armstrong and Cowboys 2nd round pick.

Now I know its not realistic. So you can just leave that part out of your responses.

The idea here is though. Bring in the perfect compliment to Pollard. This will also open up the passing game immensely. Then we can move on from both Pollard and Henry next year and draft a RB in the later rounds.

This is just hypothetical and I think this is one move that can really help the team to win NOW.
Im not giving up a 2nd rounder, or even a 3rd for Henry. Especially for a rental. Thats just bad asset management

We have.

Most recently is Diggs that I can say was a great hit. Other than that. What?
And 1 out of 4 that are great hits is about league average. Schoon/williams are still TBD although both seem to be trending the wrong way. Joseph/hill are terrible misses. Diggs/tank are obvious hits over the last decade. Despite what people think I have to believe that Jerry and co would view Gregory/connor Williams/awuzie would be classified as wins. Those guys are all a gray area but with how the cowboys operate if you can get 20+ starts and a comp pick from a player in the 2nd round that’s become the cowboy way. Whether that is right or wrong is very debatable, but statistically they are on par in the 2nd round.

There's 2 major things on the offense that have to go.
I think we all know who they are.
You wanna trade? wait till the off season and trade Parsons for a number 1and 2, move up and get a quarterback. While replacing our current head coach and offensive staff.

Henry is worth a 1st and a 2nd.

I think the offense would benefit spectacularly with Henry taking Zekes role. I’d make the trade.

How much is he getting paid? Is it the last year of his deal? One would believe pollards salary would make a move like this untenable for Stephen
Stephen is like Chris Rock in his skits on in living color…..everything is too expensive for him.
