Well. Its Monday. I am bored. So I tried this trade out and it seemed to work.

Let me know what you all think.

Dallas receives
Derrick Henry
Tennesee Receives
Dorrance Armstrong and Cowboys 2nd round pick.

Now I know its not realistic. So you can just leave that part out of your responses.

The idea here is though. Bring in the perfect compliment to Pollard. This will also open up the passing game immensely. Then we can move on from both Pollard and Henry next year and draft a RB in the later rounds.

This is just hypothetical and I think this is one move that can really help the team to win NOW.

Way too much. I think he could be had for a 4th or lower. Last I checked he was only averaging in the 3’s for YPC. He’s getting old, for a RB at least, you can’t offer young guy value. That ship was Jonathan Taylor and it already sailed.

We aren't consistently getting push nor opening lanes. He's not getting a passing attack in either place that helps open it up either.

My idea here is. Teams have to respect Henry in a way they arent respecting Pollard right now. Which opens up the passing game.

Doesn't matter if we had Emmitt in his prime.

Our QB can't throw good teams out of these run fronts. It's not changing.

Their GM would personally drive him to Dallas for a 3rd.

Why would they want Armstrong? They are rebuilding and he will be a free agent after this season.

How much is he getting paid? Is it the last year of his deal? One would believe pollards salary would make a move like this untenable for Stephen

Sounds reasonable to me...

There is a reason that Henry isn't getting many touches, isn't there? Is RB the problem on this team? Any RB we bring in wlll be rendered useless as long as our QB is awful at the forward pass, and we have no passing game

a 2nd and Armstrong for Henry and his $10M salary? Heck no. Our RB room isn't what's keeping us from winning anything. Probably a 3rd with no Armstrong I'd think about it IF Tenn pays half his salary.
