Every time they show Parsons on the field and standing on the sidelines he looks gassed. His play really dropped off the second half of the season. His play as of the last few weeks has been disappointing.

The kid has talent, he does.

But he’s been invisible for 6 weeks and his on-field demeanor is so unbelievably negative and disinterested.

I get that he’s banged up, but he is playing with zero passion.

He loves all of the positive media attention he gets and I think it’s gotten to his head.

He’s on 2-3 podcasts per week, then goes and plays in a game and can’t even get 2-3 tackles. Then goes and sulks on the sidelines.

He’s only a dawg when things are going good. But when things get tough, he’s invisible.

I wouldn’t sign him to a second contract unless he signs for a massive hometown discount.
All he does is rush up the field!!!! Every play is not a pass play

Hate to say it but I think he needs to play more at LB. They need to go back to how they used him last year. Have him all over the field even in coverage.

It would keep the opposition having to guess where he is and how to effectively neutralize or attack him. It will also keep him fresh IMO.

He had eight sacks in his first seven games and only five sacks in his last nine games. His sack numbers and plays have dropped off. He’s been one of the bigger disappointments the second part of the season.
He does not look gassed.

He looks fake hurt.

Lots of excuses for a player that was compared to LT for a second. Lots of excuses for a player that does alot of tweeting.

Yeah he has gone from potential defensive player of the year to practically invisible now. I still think when the year is over, we will find out he's been playing with a serious injury of some kind. What else can explain him going from world beater to invisible in this short of a time. I thought we had 2 superstars on D, but Diggs has seemed to go invisible himself. Very disappointing.

Ok to say he doesn’t play with passion is a bit of a stretch. How do you determine he has no passion? Sack totals?
Watch when one of his teammates gets a sack. Everyone will be celebrating but he dosent seem too happy. I could be wrong but it caught my attention this game on the sack that Sam Williams got. He just dosent look engaged at all.

C’mon he’s not faking he’s hurt. He’s had several nicks this season and was grabbing his hand that’s wrapped up like a cast. The hand is clearly bothering him. He looks worn down to me, He came into the season 5 pounds lighter than last season and he was already undersized for a DE. He’s been having to take on a lot of double teams and opponents have figured out how to neutralize him. I also think he’s been reading too many of his press clippings. He did a lot of talking leading up to the season. He’s still doing a lot of talking. It’s looking like he may have been anointed a little too quick. The Cowboys may have to reassess how they’re using him.

His stats are nearly identical to last year, with coordinators gameplanning to slow him down every week. He's a smaller front 7 player playing on the line every play and either causing chaos or demanding double and triple teams every single play. He is 1st in win percentage, 6th in sack totals, and first in pressure rate. Simply stated, he's one of the best defensive players in the game. If that level of production comes with frumpy body language, I'll take it all day every single day without question.

I'm thinking there's got to be some kind of injury he's playing with that we will here about after Brady and the Bucs spank them next week

Then he either bulks up but that would kill his speed or go back to LB where he is not great at all, or we go to 3/4 just for him.
