Its too early to talk about a second contract. He has seemingly disappeared but that is probably due to injury and his changing role in the defense as a result of injuries to others. Quinn stopped moving him around and put him as the FT edge rusher for a few weeks. He's not big enough to take on left tackles all game. So, some of his lack of production is Quinn mis-usng him.The kid has talent, he does.
But he’s been invisible for 6 weeks and his on-field demeanor is so unbelievably negative and disinterested.
I get that he’s banged up, but he is playing with zero passion.
He loves all of the positive media attention he gets and I think it’s gotten to his head.
He’s on 2-3 podcasts per week, then goes and plays in a game and can’t even get 2-3 tackles. Then goes and sulks on the sidelines.
He’s only a dawg when things are going good. But when things get tough, he’s invisible.
I wouldn’t sign him to a second contract unless he signs for a massive hometown discount.
Yeah and both of those guys alway have little nagging injuries and take a lot of abuse.I see him grabbing his shoulder a lot. Reminds me a lot of LeBron and Luka. His body language is bad and very different from the start of the season, but like you said it could be injury related but it can also be he is disinterested.
Man interceptions and sacks mean everything to these guys lol. This board thinks D Law sucks because he doesn't get 20 sacks a season.
It's as if he was born to play for the CowboysHe loves all of the positive media attention he gets and I think it’s gotten to his head.
The fact that 21 people liked this post is great lol. Shows how stupid people on this website are. Thank you for the dumb dumb poll. The kid has talent, he does.

Yeah it's called developing more moves!!I wouldn't be shocked if he has some kind of underlying physical issue that affects his conditioning or stamina. Something just isn't adding up.
2nd year player you can't be kidding me, how do you think running backs and WRs feel who are constantly also being hithes human
hes exhausted and most players do commercials and podcast all week
you cant keep him on a leash in the basement and feed him alpo until sunday comes and let him loose for 3 hours
BREAKING NEWS: you're rightBreaking news: The entire defense has disappeared for 6 weeks.
Micah got too beat up this year being almost an exclusive edge rusher. They need to go back to how they used him in 2021, mixing in plenty of off ball snaps to preserve his body.
He's 245 pounds getting smashed by 330 pound left tackles every defensive snap.
Lawrence Taylor played at around 240, Derrick Thomas and Von Miller both played around 250. I don't think it's that. I hope and pray I'm wrong because I love Micah, but he could be another Dez Bryant where mentally he takes himself out of the game because he plays with too much emotion. I don't think he's been the same since Philthy (Vic Fangio) showed all the defensive coordinators how to play him back on October 16th. We need him so I hope we're all (the ones who are now doubting him) wrong.Micah got too beat up this year being almost an exclusive edge rusher.
