We're all in the show me group.. but that should not preclude us enjoying what's in front of us. I am not trying to fast forward past the season and hurry up to the playoffs. I like watching football. The playoffs, while really exciting, make me kinda sad because they signal that the end is near for football season. So if someone wants to be miserable and not get excited watching the season because "it's not the playoffs" that's on them. I aint gonna be that guy.

I don’t care if Rush or Dak or the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man plays QB for the Cowboys as long as they win meaningful games in January and February. I am only okay with paying one the “going rate” if the QB in question is continually (3 out of four games) putting up high passing TD’s(2+)/yards (250+)/1st down passing conversion rates/total offensive scoring (24.5+ excluding defense/special teams scores)/low turnovers with good distribution of stats throughout all 4 quarters and against top 5 defenses along with other defenses. UNLESS, the team with whichever QB is routinely (2 out of 3 years) winning playoff games or winning the SB (with outstanding stats that year).

Rush has to keep this going if he would like to start for an NFL team. He gets a chance vs the defending champions and then the only current undefeated team (unless Dak is inserted in the lineup). Cross the bridges in front of you and just try to keep winning-all you can do. Gooooo Cowboys!
So you are saying its a process....:p:eek::D

I'm enjoying watching this defense go to work.
I've got very low expectations that our offense will take advantage of having a great defense, whether it's Rush or Dak.. I don't see it.

I'm usually glass is half full, but I'll believe we can beat good teams when we actually start doing it consistently.

Rush and this team are about to face the biggest test of the season to date. Rams and Eagles will tell us a lot about where we are. I'd be happy to win one with Dak out.

I think we can do so if Moore and Dak quit panicking and going all one-dimensional just because the running game isn't churning out big chunks of yardage. With this defense playing as well as it is we can afford to be patient as we showed against Washington. Nobody is winning awards for the rushing numbers they put up Sunday but in staying committed to it they allowed themselves the ability to play action and to keep the QB clean even with the offensive line losing the line of scrimmage. I guarantee you if they don't keep running it in the second half in that game we would have seen the debut of Will Grier in a Cowboys uniform because Rush would have gotten killed. Moore and Dak just need to remember the lessons learned from these last three games and bring that knowledge to every game. Do that and this team can beat anybody..

I won’t be convinced of anything with the Cowboys including their defense until we get to December and January. Can we maintain or begin to sputter out. We’ll see!

The last two times I saw Dak play in a real game he did poo poo in his pants and one of the games was a playoff game.
That 9er game still bugs me,what ******* would run up the middle with no t/o,on the last play of the game? that was as bad as Pete Carroll calling a pass at the one yrd line.. stupidity at it's finest.

The Cowboys have the talent to match up with the Rams; but as always, the game will boil down to execution and mistakes; whoever executed their game plan better and minimizes mistakes, especially in critical situations will win. Stats are fun to toss around to support an opinion, but I don’t think it has a lot to do with who wins the game.

Dallas has historically had bad showings in big games; they looked sluggish, played with no emotion and got off to notoriously slow starts. It was like the game was too big for them. This has happened under two different coaches. So in my mind they are always underdogs. Each year I hoped that the narrative would change. Still…hoping this year is finally different…show us.

Not really. They can play very well and still lose. But then go on a win streak after that. They can be at 3-3, and end up 11-6 or 12-5 very easily.

No, they need to win. No more giving points for "playing well".

Jaguars and Lions get that excuse of playing and losing well. One with a rookie QB and the other with a young HC changing a culture. We are beyond that point. Beat the freakin' good teams in the league.
