So glad that Jerry Jones paid out that big money to watch his QB go 14 of 29 for 134 yards, a 48.3% comp % with 0 td's 1 int and a qbr of 15.3

While there are issues with the OL and WR depth, this is not a good look at all and now Dak is out for possibly 6-8 weeks due to required hand surgery.

The Cowboys have a bye in week 9 so Dak will probably be out until at least then, setting up a return week 10 against Green Bay.

Dallas' week 2-8 opponents: CINN, NYG, WASH, LA Rams, Philly, Detroit, Chicago.

Given the second half of the season is tougher than the first half, Dallas is going to have to be in the 5-3 /4-4 record range to have a shot at the playoffs....which is a tall order after what everyone saw last night with Dak leading the team and now having Cooper Rush lead the team.

I agree 100 %. It’s one out of 17. Bengals I want to say had 5 turnovers yesterday . If Rush can stay away from turning it over the D keeps it close 1-1 is not out of the picture . Reshuffle that WR set for one thing get the 3rd rounder out of mothballs and actually try and establish a run game .

Will we win the superbowl under SJ's successor and the SJ's successors side kick given that it could be another round of promotions from within the family (2045 - 2060 and beyond)

Any of the three scenarios above may stumble across the magic formula of how to build a team and add the right coaching staff:
OC/DC/HC/Offense and Defense etc etc.

Do you realistically think that this will all be implemented by this familiy orientated FO?
Whereby they employ key personnel outside of the family stucture, allowing them to make key decisions given the 26 yr history of what "The family" has attempted to do so far.

I watch on with keen interest year in year out.
But I am as you say a quitter though, as I have given up posting regarding the off-field decisions they make and/or applying criticism to the current players or coach set up.

It is all in vein as JJ answers to no one.

Definition of not giving up, hmmm, let me think about that one. I believed 10 minutes into the game nothing had improved for the Cowboys, but I still hoped it had. Before the first quarter was over, I turned off the Tele. but hoped that later I would hear they won the game. As the season goes on I will weigh the possible brain damage of watching a full game vs. the benefits of not. But I hope they win.
