Well yes kitna is way better than brad but i must disagree with the latter part of your statement......BBgun is way more valuable than kitna IMO. Not only does he bring leadership and professionalism to the team be he also brings a unique point of view accompanied with some great humor to boot :laugh2:

Where do you people get this stuff? Worst season with the Falcons? He led them in tackles. HE LED A PLAYOFF TEAM IN TACKLES!

His numbers were SLIGHTLY down last year... probably because of the new defense brought in by the new coach. He's had 100+ tackles EVERY season for the last 8 seasons. More importantly, he's started all 16 games in those last 8 seasons.

Of course the Falcon fans are going to say he was on the decline.

Did you expect them to say, "dam, the franchise just walked out the door so we might as well cancel the season".


Conversly, if any Detroit fans come to this board to check out our opinion of Henery, they will find out that he too is on the downside of his career and that he played 20 yards off the line every play.



Checking out what fans say about players that just left is not the most objective way to get info, if you know what I mean.

Kitna is on the downside of his career. He might still have something in the tank, but this guy always finds a way to lose. I also think he lacks character. And 99% of the QBs are an upgrade over Brad Johnson.

Brooking had his worst season as a Falcon last year. He is on the downside of his career aswell. I don’t understand why we keep using stop gaps. I say start Barbie Carp, let him get his butt beat up and if he can’t hang, let him go. Why not resign Burnett? Wasn’t like he signed a huge contract with Miami.

Henry was going to be let go because of his contract, that was a given. I don’t see why everyone thinks that was a good move...duh! The best move would be to have him as a backup corner with a restructured contract.

I am very seldom critical of anyone posting here. But why would Henry or another player restructure a contract when they think they will be released?

It would be better to do like to do like Marvin Harrison get your money if some was guaranteed. Get cut, and go get $$$ somewhere else too. This way Henry will get the other 3.6 Million from Detroit that Dallas was unwilling to pay. If he plays well (well is relative by the way.) Detroit may re-sign him to another deal. If he can't win a starting job in Detroit, the next stop is out of the league anyway.
