I agree with Dez, Romo is a likely candidate for MVP

Romo's best passer rating was a 102.5 in 2011. Other than that they've all big in the mid 90's. His best record was 13-3. Other than that they've all be at or around .500.

If he wants to win, he needs to have career bests in both. Meaning 13-3 with a 102.5. And even then, he's not guaranteed.

If he plays well enough to be in the discussion, the exposure of the team will work to his benefit. In that regard he won't necessarily have to have the prettiest stats but they will have to be career level that puts Dallas into the playoffs.

I don't understand where all of this MVP talk is coming from lol. We haven't even played a down this season yet and we just one of the best games a quarterback has ever had in Peyton Manning just a few days ago.

If Romo is going to be a MVP candidate this team has to win more than 8 games. Let's start there.
