This looks to me like an erosion of discipline and accountability dating back to last year.

Under the current regime, players aren't held accountable when they play poorly or screw-up. It's always, "well we did this well" or "I thought that was good" while glossing over serious issues plaguing the team.

It was good enough for a while because the team's talent level overcame those mistakes.

That's no longer the case.

And the sad fact is that there's nobody to turn to in order to correct it.

The coaches don't have the ability to get it done and the players don't have the incredibly strong leadership it would take to overcome that.

Romo glosses over a lot of the teams problems to such an extent that we can remain competitive with him in the lineup. It reminds me how Favre could will some average Packer teams to the playoffs earlier in his career. He was that good.

We're a playoff-caliber team with Romo at the helm.

Do you really think the team would have won the game yesterday with Romo?

I don't.

Right on. Brad Johnson was about 10th on the list of reasons for yesterday's emabarassment. Romo would have made minimal difference in the outcome.

If healthy, yes I do.

The three and outs with Brad don't happen. 3 INTS won't happen. The ability to throw a deep pass does happen.

No, Brad was the main reason we struggled on offense. Period.

Romo wouldn't have helped that pathetic defense yesterday.

The team gave up three TD's in the first quarter to a team who had a total of 4 for the season.

Romo doesn't fix that.

I think if he played we would not have turned the ball over three times in the 1st quarter and be down 21-7.

We would have found a way to get back in the game, even if we were down by such a score. We had opportunites to get back in the game but Brad could not move the offense.

I agree with you to a point.

I think the team would have been more competitive with Romo, but I won't go as far as to say they would have won.

They looked overmatched and I don't think it's something that one player could have fixed.

They play differently (even the defense) when Romo is in there.

I think he is that good.
