I agree, the strengths of our future corners(Pacman and Jenkins) is man, yet we are still forcing zone upon them and it clearly isn't going well.

I think we should not be making instant judgements based on pre-season, but I can understand someone being mildly concerned with some aspects of the Cowboys game.

The first team defense was ok, but certainly nothing to write home about.

We are fortunate that for about a quarter and half, Schaub could not hit the broad side of a barn with a fire hose.

I'm shocked we have meltdowns over preseason, maybe, just maybe they wanted to work on zone defense cause they know that's a weakness for our corners? after all that's what preseason is for

I am actually pleased with tonights game. The first units played well. Ball protection needs to be tighted up but other than that, this was a strong outing on both sides of the ball.


There weren't the stupid penalties we had seen in previous weeks which was one of the things that I thought needed to be addressed.

it feels like we are playing a very vanilla offense and defense this preseason. Especially do to the extra magnifing glasses brought upon by hard knocks it seems like we are fully spreading our wings

Wade Phillips is not the great defensive coach everyone says he is. why in the world are our CB's still playing 10 yards off the reciever? this is crazy, i though we were told we had better talent in the secondary?and special teams is just flatout terrible. the worst in cowboys history.will Newman play ten yards off the reciever too. folks i dont think it's the players. i think it's the scheme. this scheme flatout stinks.who agrees with me?

Im starting to think that as well

But its too early to tell.
