I'm more concerned with the other weapons. I think if Dallas put to much emphisis on Moss it will allow the other weapons that NE has to have a big game. Their TD's count for the same as the ones Moss gets.

I have a feeling he is going to burn us.

I dont have a feeling he is going to light us up but I am scared of him.

Any Cowboy fan who isn't worried about Randy Moss is clueless.

Phillips said on his conference call that he is going to put 3 on Moss, and take his chances with their other Receivers.

I am sure all the chicken littles will line up behind you as you all retreat in fear.

Personally I would rather get behind the great Cowboy players and prove ourselves against the league best.

If we win ..... does that make Moss a worse player?
If we lose ..... does that make him even better?

There is a reason that Moss and Owens do not have a Superbowl ring ...... neither is unstoppable.

That is what scares me. NE has some other talented ball players who can make plays. On the other hand TO presents problems for NE. In the SB vs the Pats TO had a very good game with over 120 yards. If NE tries to take him out of the game then we need others like Crayton and Hurd to step it up along with Witten.

Moss' history against us says we should all be afraid, very afraid.

History is what it is ...... History.

Moss has never faced THIS team .....

Jerry Rice is 10 times better than Moss ...... and our last championship teams were not afraid of him.

To be Champions we have to believe we can beat anyone. Period.

true...

Personally i would like to see Ken "I'm going to kill you" Hamlin truck stick Moss, and try and break him in half.

Here is my final thoughts on this .....

If you play scared, you are to worried about the other guy to take advantage of the mistakes he will make in the game.

All players make mistakes ..... if you are to afraid to take advantage of them you get beat.

I truly believe thats what happened to Parcells teams for the last few years .... They were so afraid to make a mistake, or let the guy beat them, that they missed opportunities to Win games.

You cannot play Football scared.

Moss is a great player ...... but screw him, even Reeves can beat him if he reacts in time.

You know on punts how the receiving team basically doubles and mauls the gunners at the line? I want to do that to him and have the 2nd defender staying with him, releasing from him and trailing into an under zone, faking the double press and going into a deep zone, or blitzing.

If you take a look at matchups....Randy Moss stands out as THE problem. Our front 7 matches up well with the Patriots. The rest of the Patriot WR/TE group is good but we match up OK with them. A healthy Randy Moss however, when his head is in the game, possesses perhaps the best set of physical WR tools in the NFL. Moss is healthy....and his head is ALWAYS in the game against the Cowboys because of our unwillingness to draft him continues to rankle him. Add to this the fact our CB corps is injured and you have a matchup problem the Patriots will not fail to recognize.

You folks go ahead and pound your chest about "playing scared" and "Moss isn't unbeatable." I think it is quite likely Moss will have a big day against us. We are going to need to score some points this week and not give the Patriots any turnover gifts. We'll see.

I'm not....Roy and Ken need to put a helmet on him...in fact, I would guard the sideline routes and make him catch the ball in the middle of the field and then HAMMER him..especiall early in the game...that will cause him to lose some heart and a lot of his legs

We haven't faced Moss with a CB of Newman's caliber playing for us.

Who were the CB's that Moss went up against in the past? Also the coaches? Those things play a key factor in preparation. So what is there to be afraid of? Wade is a defensive minded coach and IMO Moss will not have a big day....

1998 3 catches 163 yards 3 TD's against Larry Brown and Kevin Smith (I believe Deion was hurt if I'm not mistaken)

1999 6 catches 91 yards 2 TD's against Kevin Smith (Deion only had one or two plays against him)

2000 7 catches 144 yards 2 TD's against Dwayne Goodrich and Phillipi Starks

2004 4 catches 27 yards 2 TD's (1 yd and 3 yd's against T. Newman)

2005 4 catches 123 yards 0 TD's (against A. Henry)

**** I did not include the playoff game****

The best case scenario is Terence Newman
