I am more worried about Brady picking Dallas apart underneath. Dallas has done of good job of eliminating the big plays and making teams work for every point. NE is going to move the ball, Dallas just needs to make them kick some field goals if they are going to win the game.

Who were the CB's that Moss went up against in the past? Also the coaches? Those things play a key factor in preparation. So what is there to be afraid of? Wade is a defensive minded coach and IMO Moss will not have a big day....

1998 3 catches 163 yards 3 TD's against Larry Brown and Kevin Smith (I believe Deion was hurt if I'm not mistaken)

1999 6 catches 91 yards 2 TD's against Kevin Smith (Deion only had one or two plays against him)

2000 7 catches 144 yards 2 TD's against Dwayne Goodrich and Phillipi Starks

2004 4 catches 27 yards 2 TD's (1 yd and 3 yd's against T. Newman)

2005 4 catches 123 yards 0 TD's (against A. Henry)

**** I did not include the playoff game****

The best case scenario is Terence Newman

Kevin Smith had already had an achilles tear, and Terrance Newman struggled his first two years. I remember how people use to complain he never looked back for the ball. It was in 2005, he really began to shine. That is when he stopped allowing TDs.

This, coupled by the fact, we had absolutely no pass rush those seasons.

Moss is gonna get his....

He is good for one TD... and if we really dont take care of business he can burn us for THREE TD's.

It is a concern.

Everyone just take care of business.

If Newman is healthy enough to keep up with him, all we need to do is worry about everyone else on the Patriots offense.

The Pats are going spread us out early and often, because they know Henry will be out. Nathan Jones must have a great game playing in the slot. They will score their points and we have to return the favor in spades. Garrett better not try and grind it out on the ground to eat clock, because we have to score as many points as possible. Cowboys must go for the jugular in this game, like they did against the Niners back in the day.

The mindset should be....a scorefest!

You must be a meter maid.

The pressure of a good pass rush will make Moss ineffective....Moss does not go across the middle.....If Brady does not have time to set his feet then Moss can't go deep......

I agree with you 100%. If the Boys get a rush on brady keeping him on the run and lookin up at the sky on his back sacks and pressure is going to be key. Look at what we did to manning last year. I believe we have a better chance than most people think. They have'nt played anyone that has an offense or defense. we have both i say bring it on

Leigh Bodden shut him down. TNew can do it. What I worry about is devoting too much to shutting him down and Stallworth, Watson and Welker beating us.

Newman struggled his rookie season?

Says who?

He did in '05 due to the knee problem but I don't know of a single person that thought he struggled in his rookie season.

Like others, I am not afraid of Moss, it's the other guys you gotta worry about.

When Moss draws Newman, he'll be pressed and the ball will have to go elsewhere. When he draws Reeves, he will be given a cushion, but won't go deep because Reeves can run with him. If they throw it to him quick off the snap, he'll be prime for the hitting by a LB, Safety or even Reeves.

I'd be interested to see Watkins cover Moss with Hamlin deep. Watkins only time covering a WR 1 on 1 that I can remember was terrible, but he wasn't lined up with him, he was passed off to him on a corner blitz and had no help deep.

Randy Moss is not going to just waltz into Texas Staidum and burn the hell out of the Cowboys like he has done in the past! When he played against the Boyz in the past, the Boy were stinking up the place...

This team is more physical than what he's used too. By the end of the 3rd qtr Moss will be quitting on his routes...check it out!

Scared of Moss? Huh...
