Guys, I am really worried about Romo, for real. I have never seen anybody so despondant after the game. He sounded like he was just devastated and blaming himself for ending the season.

Does the Cowboys have conselors or something for the players? I really dont think Romo should be left alone in a situation like this. I am serious here guys, I used to work in a crisis center and some people can get so depressed and despondent that they start having crazy thoughts.

I really think somebody else needs to learn to be the holder in the offseason, Romo is the one starting QB in the NFL that holds. I just hope that Romo can bounce back from this and have a good season next year.

I am really worried about him right now though, hopefully some coaches or players are trying to cheer him up today, I dont like the idea of leaving somebody alone when they are this despondent.

Well, I am one of those guys that WANT our players to either be in tears or on the verge of tears after ANY loss.

It's a natural thing that he is going through.....he's NOT a "weak" person or anything like that.

Watch, during the pro-bowl he'll be smiling and laughing.

He will be fine. One thing that i liked about his game yesterday was that he didnt force any throws, he was NOT a gunslinger. Its nice to see if he really wants to he can rein that part of him in. He took alot of check downs to the backs yesterday

The guy has a lot of confidence. He'll bounce back just fine. Next season doesn't start for another 9 months. That's a lot of time to get over it.

You think he will go on Letterman and let Dave snap some balls to him?

Don't worry about him. He is going into this offseason knowing he is the starting QB of the Dallas Cowboys and will work very hard this off season like never before.

The screw up came on Special teams not as a QB.

It wasnt the Superbowl.

It was his 1st ever playoff start.

I sure hope so, I am still feeling sick myself today. I could not even sleep last night, I am not even watching the games today.

I am sure Romo feels 1000 worse than I do. I just hope your right and he bounces back ok from this.

The game is too emotional for the QB to be holding on field goals. Use someone that doesn't have the responsibility of the entire team to do that job.

That's a good point. Injury risk is another reason not to have the starting QB holding kicks. It won't be happening next season, that's for sure.

Romo played 4 quarters and then had to worry about catching a snap after beaing battered all game.

Someone with fresh legs may have been able to take that fumble into the endzone.

I dont think we should have made a change this year but as for next year I hope he doesnt have the responsibiliy.

I agree 100%.

Romo should never be holding on a kick again, there is a reason no other team in the NFL does it.

And its not even that I dont trust him anymore doing it...

Just its almost "too" much for a starting QB to do at the end of the game after all a QB has already been through.

Time will only tell I guess.
