I Am Worried About Romo...seriously

And its not even that I dont trust him anymore doing it...

Just its almost "too" much for a starting QB to do at the end of the game after all a QB has already been through.

Time will only tell I guess.

I still trust Romo, a fluke play like that will probably never happen again to him, but it is just too much like you said for the starter to be holding. He probably is still thinking about the last play, ect....

I am sure somebody else on the team can learn to hold in the offseason, it cannot be that difficult.

The ball will be different in that situation as well next year.

I dont wanna blame the slick ball but those balls arent rubbed down any.

I think P Manning and Brady wanted that changed before the season but never happened?

I'm not worried about his mind. The guy smiles even after bad plays. I'm worried about his height, arm, and accuracy.

height 6'2" check
arm is average
accuracy are you kidding? his accuracy is pretty damn good

Romo has 3.9 million reasons to be alive .... PLUS Carrie Underwood.

Honestly, I'm much more concerned with his ability at this point.

Yesterday continued his trend of under/over throwing recievers. The Cowboys could have a nice big lead going into the 4th quarter if Romo could have simply hit his recievers. He had a lot of balls sail over them, and three or four that "Bledsoe'd" to his WRs (ie, bounced to them).

Also, don't expect Romo to be holding anymore regardless of yesterday. The only reason he continued to do so was he was the most experienced person at it. With an off-season to train someone else to hold, Romo's holding days are over.

:lmao: I can't believe this, Romo better not give up on life after a football game. You have people in the world dealing with far more dramatic situations. People let's get back from the PC and go spend time with family.

I think Crayton will hold next year. Did anyone else for an instant with the way the camera angle was think that he was going to take it in for a TD?

The game is too emotional for the QB to be holding on field goals. Use someone that doesn't have the responsibility of the entire team to do that job.

:sledgehammer:

I'm not sure he can recover from that. If he is lucky he can hide all off season and prepare for the reporters that will still be asking him about it next season.

Unfortunately his weak play at QB killed any trade value we might have had for him.

Our best case scenerio out of the deal is that we are going to have the highest paid back up QB in the league that isn't qualified to hold for kicks.

Guys, I am really worried about Romo, for real. I have never seen anybody so despondant after the game. He sounded like he was just devastated and blaming himself for ending the season.

Does the Cowboys have conselors or something for the players? I really dont think Romo should be left alone in a situation like this. I am serious here guys, I used to work in a crisis center and some people can get so depressed and despondent that they start having crazy thoughts.

I really think somebody else needs to learn to be the holder in the offseason, Romo is the one starting QB in the NFL that holds. I just hope that Romo can bounce back from this and have a good season next year.

I am really worried about him right now though, hopefully some coaches or players are trying to cheer him up today, I dont like the idea of leaving somebody alone when they are this despondent.

I'm not worried about him in the least. If he's a pu%$# than we don't need him anyway. Frig him - my 6 year old niece could have handled that snap.

take any anger management classes?

I think he'll be fine, He'll remember this feeling and work hard in the off season to ensure he doesn't feel it again.

Bledsoe will be gone soon and away you can go with him.

I said nothing about bledsoe. Romo was a failed experiment. You should realize that and stop killing the messengers in the name of Jesus Romo.

i still have my doubts he recovers from yesterday because to lose your confidence in just 1 instant is devestating although i really really hope im wrong

He played well at the QB position. He messed up on a ST play. His confidence will be fine...
