I Am Worried About Romo...seriously

Next week. You lose!

McNabb looked really excited for you guys after the field goal :lmao2:

We'll see what happens. I'm not predicting this game because I said the Saints were the best team in the NFC. They're just ridiculously loaded on offense, but their defence doesn't scare me.

Mcnabb's face was a little creepy. I was waiting for the huge celebration from him, but he had a straight face and disappeared into the back.

Timbo...

Did you boo Garcia when he was hit and got up in his 1st start???

I called for A.J. when I went to the Carolina game.

At least you're honest.

Garcia swaying you some now? ;)

As long as he gets us that trophy.

Even if he did that, I'd still want/expect Mcnabb to be the starter next year.

No predictions??? Have some onions will ya... you ARE a fan right?

Afraid to put yourself out there? :lmao2:

Yeah.... the chunky soup is about to hit the fan.

They mentioned during the game that McNabb was helping Garcia with something and McNabb was viewing a chart or something and Garcia had to ask him for it.... you know, because Garcia is the QB... not McNabb:lmao2: :lmao2:

You think he will go on Letterman and let Dave snap some balls to him?

Maybe that was a problem?? perhaps all the appearances and glitz after 4 games was a bit premature?? just a thought

I don't think the botched hold by Romo was 'terribly stupid'. There are no perfect human beings nor athletes. He's being paid to focus, do his best, be prepared, and I fully believe he was doing all of those things when he took that snap.

Oh sure..if that had been Bledsoe holding..I'd love to see this board's reaction :)

You know when your parents or friend tell you "dont do this, I did it and its bad" and you claim to listen and say OK.... but then you do it anyway..... NOT until you receive the result of your action can you truly LISTEN

That pretty much sums it up perfectly.

Seattle's secondary was very weak, weak corners and safety's with many injuries and sub's filling in, hec one corner just got off the couch, but
romo couldn't take advantage of all this weakness ? ? ?

For the entire season that he as played Parcell's has been using only a limited
number of play's because the designated QB couldn't seem to catch on to the Cowboys play book. As Parcell's said to the media more than once " we have a lot do here!"

In the past Dallas has had great QB's like Roger Stau., Aikman and others and they were solid and absolutely not SHOWBOAT's. It's time to get another QB who can do understudy with Bledsoe leading the way as he did with the Patriot's mentoring and guiding the Patriot QB into one of the top QB's in the NFL along with Drew himself.

I can't believe the excuse's Al Michaels and others have for romo, one the better excuses was that the ball was slick because it was made for kicking and not throwing.. and that's why romo muffed to field goal placement...

We should start looking for another QB and not dump Parcell's. The next
QB should be tall enough to see over his linemen so that he can take advantage of weak secondaries..

Guys, I am really worried about Romo, for real. I have never seen anybody so despondant after the game. He sounded like he was just devastated and blaming himself for ending the season.

Does the Cowboys have conselors or something for the players? I really dont think Romo should be left alone in a situation like this. I am serious here guys, I used to work in a crisis center and some people can get so depressed and despondent that they start having crazy thoughts.

I really think somebody else needs to learn to be the holder in the offseason, Romo is the one starting QB in the NFL that holds. I just hope that Romo can bounce back from this and have a good season next year.

I am really worried about him right now though, hopefully some coaches or players are trying to cheer him up today, I dont like the idea of leaving somebody alone when they are this despondent.

Who cares? The guy may not even be the answer here. I like him and all, but he should of held onto the ball.

I want a quarterback that can get the job done. Romo appeared to be that guy early on, but like most backup quarterbacks who are forced into the starting role he began to struggle down the stretch. Much like the team as a whole.

If Romo is the future, so be it. As long as he realizes that a true competitor shakes off the hurt and comes out wanting even more the next time.

Most Backup qb's? try most qb's period during their first year starting.

Just look at Philip Rivers. He was god awful during the end of the season, he was just lucky he has a defense that bailed him out at the end.

I said nothing about bledsoe. Romo was a failed experiment. You should realize that and stop killing the messengers in the name of Jesus Romo.

Doesn't even get 1 full season huh? Interesting.......

Huh?

What are you talking about?

This is a strange post. You dont even know the player, yet you feel concerned?

Its called compassion. When I see somebody that upset and distraught, I naturally worry about their frame of mind.

Just because I dont know somebody does not mean I dont care. Again, its called compassion.

Last time I checked it was Tuna calling the plays. Dont blame Romo for executing the dink and dunk playbook. Unless your Peyton, you dont get to call your own plays and sling the ball deep every play. Your beef is with Tuna, not Romo.

Didnt he lead the league in Yards Per Attempt?
