I bash Dak more than anyone but he was great today

To his credit Dak played well today and I've been as hard on him as anyone. But I also think years of his blunders, brain farts, and implosions have severely lowered the bar for him, so it seems to us like he played a great game when in reality he played a good game that unfortunately included at least one gut punch mistake (running out of bounds) and another golden opportunity to win the game (1st and goal at the 6) squandered.

On the road against a top team, and a rival no less. And it still came down to the last play,

I've been super upset about a lot of losses over the years. This is not one of them.
No, not the last play.
It came down to 1st and 5 at the 6 with 27 seconds to play.
I'm not upset. It's hilarious to see those crying about how it's
everyone else's fault and not the guy paid to win games like these.

Dak spit the bit when it counted

I'm no Dak apologist, but he outplayed Hurts, hands down. If anything, the team let him down. Gallup, Steele, and our D crapped the bed in the most inopportune moments. That being said, l don't know what to think about the team. Even with all the bad calls, no calls, and mistakes, they should have won.

Dak played a heck of a ball game. Can’t take that away.

But he went brain dead in a big moment.
What moment are you even referencing? Tyler with the false start? Steele declining to even get in his man's way for a second on the two sacks?

It is brain dead to think QB play lost you that game. QB play is why you were even in it in the first place.

The last sequence; the last thing we needed was a sack and he could have thrown it through the end zone. But this is typical of him in the final seconds.

They are not in that position if Dak doesn't play a fantastic game on the road against a top team for 3 1/2 quarters before it.

The team played well given the situation. As did Dak. Sometimes you just lose.

Dude, did you see how quickly he had rushers in his face? If Dak hadn't been carrying that bum offensive line all night, you are down by 14+ in the 4th.

Blaming the QB for this loss pretty much shows who is approaching their evaluation of the game in bad faith to begin with.

Yes he was, until it really counted. You just can't step out of bounds at the 1 when you're trying to score 2 points. He's got to have better game awareness than that.

he played like a top guy today. he literally has no running and a awful right tackle. it Makes no sense. tyron, and Zack alone should let us run in the redone and supposedly Tyler is playing great. you can't have 5 all pros on the line. but damn steele doesn't have to be a bottom 10 lineman.
give dak a running game, and him and lamb. play even better.
You are a Dak basher but I can respect the bashers when they know how to turn it off. Some of y'all come across as just bashing him even when he plays well but I can respect you being real here.

You can't do tha tthough. You can't say when it really counted because quite frankly, he didn't get much help today. He almost had to score one every possession or game over.

Like, every time you play a playoff caliber team, I guess.
C'mon dude, you play to win the game. They're now 5-3.
There are no moral victories.

If they got trounced I would be right there with you. I'm clearly no fan boi of this team.

But how many teams of either conference walk into Philly and expect to be in the game until the last play? Almost none outside of KC (depending if Taylor shows up).

Save the outrage for when they really screw up the game against the Giants next week.

This sounds a whole lot like mediocrity acceptance.
Sure, let's watch them beat up the Giants again.
Then we'll feel better... lol/smh

The team is a bully. Once it's time to battle a real team
they crumble in the end. Bring on the Giants... lol

Outrage? Nah, it's hilarious. Like Groundhog Day.

He was fantastic right up until that final series, a veteran QB has to throw the ball out of the back of the endzone in that situation. You can't try to scramble around when it is first down with no timeouts and the game on the line.

No outrage expressed in my three points. I was disappointed at his stepping out of bounds before scoring, other than that, the two other complaints were on the rookie TE and the OL. No outrage
