See what you saying but this D has regressed as fast as Justin Gatlin in the 100 Meters run.
we played the team with the best record in the nfl... and you think they are supposed to pitch a shutout? The defense gave the ball back to the offense 2 times in the final 5 minutes with a chance to win. Offense didnt get it done.

I, personally chalk this up to a very good gae by two of the best teams in the league. Someone is gonna lose, someone is gonna win. We will see them again, and we will be in the playoffs with a legit shot. Cant ask for much more than that.

Dak played at the absolute top of his ceiling……..in a game of inches it can go either way.
Bingo!

I coached softball for 20 years, both club and HS.

Some of the best games I was ever involved in, against some of the best teams in the country were 1 run losses. We won plenty of blowouts and they never compared to those other games.
As a fan, Im disappointed we lost... but th egame did all I want. My emotions were up and down, I was pacing back and forth.. it was freaking GREAT!

But like I told my teams, the game cant only be fun when we win. This is the NFL and when two good teams play... someone is going home with an L.

We will see them again.

By the way.. there is only a couple fo QBs in the NFL who could have played any better than Dak played yesterday.

Oh, and lost in all of this.. Cee Dee is gonna get a huge pay check. He is absolutely balling.

That’s true and that’s why they are in the top tier of NFL quarterbacks

If we had that alleged “ generational defense” we heard hyped my the media, Daks performance should have been enough, despite his few errors.

Thats what separates the elites from the rest….pressure awareness, sideline awareness, open receivers in the end zone instead of a covered receiver. It’s nitpicking but the elite ones seem to avoid these especially in games that could decide the division or in playoff games.

28 points let up by the Defense and 60 rushing yards by our running backs won’t win a Championship

Tell us how the false start that moves them back to the 11 is Dak's fault. Explain that.

You people are stupid.
We dont know what was called in the huddle or line. We know o line struggling....did we over complicate the call.

Yes....honestly ....that is weak. Right? Im just saying there could be sonething there we dont know.

fact is.... Discipline, physicality. We dont have it there. We arent going far playing like that.

He was not great. If he was great, he'd have won the game.
so nobody else holds responsibility of winning? you pass for 370+ and throw three TDs and yet you weren't great enough...so Steele? Biadasz or Pollard hold zero responsibility?

Can agree and there is blame to go around and I am very hard on Dak, but he played good and will take this performance that we have seen from him, since the run has been added for the rest of the year.

A top guy would win that game.
So many opportunities.
so many opportunities due to him lol. yes, obviously he didn't get it done, but he was the reason we were in position at all

In the most critical parts of the game Dak stepped out of bounds on an unforced error that cost us two points.

Then could not score with a 1st & goal from the 6.

I don't care how well you play all game if you blow it at the worst times just like Romo did.
unforced? what do you call defenders bearing down on you w/ only one place to go? he didn't casually jog out of bounds, he tried to get into the endzone and the angle and pressure led to his foot stepping on the line as he tried to make something out of nothing

I hate Dak but he played one of his better games yesterday. He is not the weak link on the offensive this year. That title goes to Pollard. If we had a big bruising back this would be a different team.
Overall Dallas played much better then I expected. This team is not as good as last years team so I honestly expected a much larger point spread loss, so overall I thought it was a good game. If we can win the games we are expected to win we will get a wildcard spot. I expect a one and done post season record which again I think is about as high of expectations you can have for this season.

The OL has taken a massive step back. First place I look is at Solari. Cowboys were hit with injuries last year and looked nowhere as bad.

The way the OL is blocking it wouldn't matter if we had Henry or CMC

cmon man he could have overcome all the bull**** around him that’s what great qbs do . he’s a good qb . he is not great . that’s just factual man . it’s not about stepping out of bounds it’s about having complete control on a huge outcome and not delivering .
"complete control" when there are 105 other men involved lol. you're a wild dude man.

I don't think he is great. I do think he is good. I also think with a minimum of effort you find could instances where the Bradys, Rogers, Aikmans etc stepped out of bounds or had a fluke bad moment. Maybe not as many, but they did.

More importantly I don't think it was the main issue today or even close to it.
you're making a whole lot of sense. we don't like your kind around here

Even at the 11 with 1st down and what... 20 some seconds on the clock??? I think we still win..... the one thing that cant happen, is a sack, and dak took a sack, game over.
This is insanity lol. He dind't just "take a sack" he GOT sacked. You act as if it was a decision he made to just allow it.

This is a tired cliche'
I'd love to see the success rate on having the ball on the 6 with
27 seconds left in the game. Only second tier QBs and below
screw that up.

The final score is all that matters in pro sports. Look at last year's SB.
Hurts was the best player on the field. He lost and went home
without a trophy. It's just that simple.

I agree with everything except the rushing. Our offense moved up and down the field... only a damn holding really stopped us. That and Gallup dropping that 1 that hit him in the chest. I was ok with out offense. Now that Mike has stopped trying to put handcuffs on Dak and just let him play.

The running game has been a non factor all season and the last thing they want is to be a one dimensional offense. Unless one’s quarterback is Mahomes or Burrow, a running game kind of helps, lol
