I bash Dak more than anyone but he was great today

This is insanity lol. He dind't just "take a sack" he GOT sacked. You act as if it was a decision he made to just allow it.
I guess you fail to recognize why Brady was sacked so little... it wasnt because his line was so great. It was because he saw pressure, even saw pressure pre snap and immediately dumped th eball.

I think I heard them say Mahomes was sacked the least amount of times in the league... it surely isnt because his line is so stellar. No, Dak took a sack. 1,2,3 get rid of it on that play.

The running game has been a non factor all season and the last thing they want is to be a one dimensional offense. Unless one’s quarterback is Mahomes or Burrow, a running game kind of helps, lol
How much more can you ask of the offense against that "Great," Eagles front 7? Dak carved them up, with or without the running game. Remember a few years ago, opening night against the Bucs? I think we ran less than 10 times and we had probably 500 yards of offense.

Dont get me wrong, it would be great if we had a stellar run game... but we did that in 2014... didnt work out in the end, did it?

unforced? what do you call defenders bearing down on you w/ only one place to go? he didn't casually jog out of bounds, he tried to get into the endzone and the angle and pressure led to his foot stepping on the line as he tried to make something out of nothing
he tried to reach out... dive for the pylon and he makes it... period.

Brady is the GOAT and is one of the skills that separate him. Mahomes is possibly the 2nd best, and his line IS stellar. Regardless, if you were able to decide not to get sacked, neither of them would ever be sacked. It's just a false premise.

gotcha. should have just dove (like he did previously when he was flipped upside down onto his head) "he makes it" lol. sounds good my man

Sorry, we can agree to disagree. Prior to the snap.. he knows, I CAN NOT GET SACKED.. just dump it. He held it too long. Again, agree to disagree ... we move on.

And yes, im talking about one of the greatest ever... and thats what makes them the greatest ever, they dont get sacked in those situations.I bet if we could talk to Payton Manning and here his input, hed say you cant take that sack.

In any event, Dak played damn good, and Im as confident about this team moving forward as Id have been had we won the game. What was the difference between winning and losing that game?? 1 play.

if you got to be a wise arse.. just go talk to someone else... my man

You mean from the 11, you can't pretend the false start didn't happen. You also ignore that Steele barely touched his man on the first down sack.

Putting not scoring there all on Dak is insane to me. Steele dropped the ball as did the coaching staff for not putting a TE or RB there to help Steele who was having issues all game.
Steele was getting destroyed out there all game.

Almost reminds me of the game Romo was 25-36, 506 YDS, 5 TD, 1 INT and lost 51-48.

Not quite, but close.

The last sequence; the last thing we needed was a sack and he could have thrown it through the end zone. But this is typical of him in the final seconds.
And got a grounding penalty because he sure as hell didnt have time to get outside the pocket and the recievers were barely out of their stance. Have a clue.

I'd love to see the success rate on having the ball on the 6 with
27 seconds left in the game. Only second tier QBs and below
screw that up.

The final score is all that matters in pro sports. Look at last year's SB.
Hurts was the best player on the field. He lost and went home
without a trophy. It's just that simple.
How did Dak screw up the false start?

Someone explain this to me. Like are you really blaming the QB for a false start by the LG?

He played his heart out. If that does it for you, great.
It still wasn't enough in the end.

In pro sports, they are graded on each play. Teammates and coaches
and GMs will all publicly praise their guy but in the film room, Dak will
not grade out well in the final 27 seconds.

It's not hate or outrage. It's just the cold hard truth. You have to be better
in that situation.
Care to explain to me what he could have done better in the last 27 seconds that would have won the game? Also you can say throw a TD pass. Tell me what he could have done differently.

he played like a top guy today. he literally has no running and a awful right tackle. it Makes no sense. tyron, and Zack alone should let us run in the redone and supposedly Tyler is playing great. you can't have 5 all pros on the line. but damn steele doesn't have to be a bottom 10 lineman.
give dak a running game, and him and lamb. play even better.
playing great means a win. Dak made some mistakes that hurt the team (as did other as well so calm down). If you say to Dak that he played a great game and he probably goes off on you saying he didn't.

A guy with the football knowledge of a 5th grader would know Dak wasn’t the problem yesterday. If Dak is bad and we judge him for his work, you’re pathetic and we should judge you the same.
Man, some of you guys are sensitive. I bet Dak is pretty upset with himself today. and, yes, hold me accountable for my work performance as well. Dak isn't bad. He's just average. Outside of the 4th Q mistakes, he had a very good game going but in the end, he didn't wrap up the win. I'd argue that MM also made some bad decisions as well towards the end of the game but as an average QB, he's going to need others' help. He didn't get that from his Oline (at times) and his coach. The D didn't look all that good either until the 4th.

Avoiding sacks is just as important. Watch Brady, Allen, Rodgers, Hurts, Mahomes. These types know how to avoid most sacks to buy time for receivers.

All I hear is Steele sucked all game, why didn't Dak grab Steele by the face mask and give him a earfull...??

Since you've "allowed" me to say "throw a TD pass, I'll go with that...lol
