This is copium, Coog. Trying to find hope for an already wasted season. You sound like a parent who refuses to give up on her totally cracked-out child who will obviously die soon. There's more reason to feel for the parent of a doomed kid than people still hoping their football team will pull itself into a proper smelling turd. That's the ceiling for this team this year.

The simple fact is that they just totally whiffed on this DC and his scheme. The DC is not experienced enough and his style doesn't fit this group of players OR he simply doesn't know how to switch to fit their skills.

The front office has just been throwing jelly at a tree hoping something will stick with all the trades and players they keep bringing in.

It's not getting fixed this year and it may never with this Front Office. It is what it is.

I am not being pessimistic just REAL. It's a disaster and the sooner you accept it, the easier the season will be for you.
