Not at all. The The Cowboys, I believe is the richest franchise in American sports.

Awesome. So he wins that trophy each year. I bet fans are tuning in each Sunday, holding fantasy drafts each summer, and sneaking peeks at their phone during church and the kids' soccer games just to get continual updates on franchise valuation.

Why is he the best owner in sports? Because his team has the most net worth?

The "Dallas Cowboys" brand was already a marketable commodity before Jerry came along, which is why they're still popular despite two decades of accomplishing nothing on the football field, under the direction of "the best owner in sports" fulfilling the role of GM.

Jerry is a successful business man. He knows how to make money. But his ego is the biggest thing keeping him from being the best owner in sports. He'd rather drive the ship and lose than hand the keys to someone else and win.

Execution is where the NFL differs from college, but as to being a fan, sportsmanship should have a part too, and hence, a sport.

Not as much as Jerry wants to be the reason the Cowboys win. If all he wanted to do was win he wouldn't have been jealous of Jimmy getting credit and shoved him out the door.

Not the truth at all, Jimmy crossed lines of team loyalty and betrayed both his players and Jerry...as to meriting.

No he wants to win more than anyone. He is just a little clueless about how to do it unfortunately.

The best owner in sports would care about winning. Jerry sucks!! Part of his responsibilities should be doing everything he can to be successful on the field. The guy's anazz and I think he blows as an owner.

We must BOYCOTT the Dallas Cowboys. Don't watch their games, don't buy anything Dallas Cowboys related. Then tell it on social media.

The ocean is made of billions of drops of water. We do our part we affect the Dallas Cowboys FO.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on the first part. Agree on the second. PSA benefit of the doubt is out the window if JG is here at the start of FA

That ship sailed. Jerry makes more money hosting concerts etc. He probably hosts 150 events which severely outweighs the 10 games a year. Plus the stadium is filled with away fans. plus he's raking in money from tv contracts. plus he owns the wealthiest team in all of sports. Sadly a boycott does nothing at all.

Jerry is more of a business man then a football guy. Yes, the brand is more important, which sucks because that means we have a Pres./GM who thinks business first then football. We have to stop buying DC gear!!!

I hate to say it ,but Im starting to believe that J. J. Is more concerned about THE DALLAS COWBOYS brand than the team. I agree that he is the best owner in sports. But,
If you keep doing the same thing over and over , year after year , and expect different results .
Well , you know where im going.
Jerry has ignited an entertainment development boom with his Cowboys and the palace they play in. The area around Cowboys stadium is quickly turning into a dining and entertainment destination and the Star if Frisco is mega-development of commercial space that has revenue dollars written all over it.

Football is a conversation piece for Jerry. The real money is in the revenue streams he is enjoying through access to his brand, He probably bought up most of the properties around Arlington and Frisco to develop and lease to other concerns wanting a piece of the "brand".

Jerry sux as an NFL personnel guy, but he is a master at promotion, business development and sports entertainment venues.

Jerrys #1 goal has always been to be a rockstar: score with chicks, get drunk, and play fantasy football with the franchise. His face may look like the crypt keeper but his money buys a lot of chicks. Football and winning finish 2nd or 3rd to scoring w chicks and getting drink or at least its been that way for the past 22 seasons.

I have the tar and feathers ready for when Jerry erects (snicker) a statue of himself in front of the deathstar. HOF'er my a**.

He’s not the best owner if he’s not making decisions in the best interest of football operations.

Insisting on maintaining control as GM which prevents a more proven HC coming in is not what’s best for Cowboys Football.

Jerry ONLY wants to win his way.!!!!

It’s more about Jerry pursuing credit for being a Football Guy than winning at any cost or he’d get out of the way.

Nooooo, not even close.

Jerry cares about Jerry, period. If he cared more about the brand, he'd hire the right people and start winning more and make even more money and make this a respectable brand.

Jerry has gone out of his way to prove he cares about nothing but his own numnums.

No, he's not. He knows to hire a BP type and does not do it because he doesn't want to. Because he wants control.

Why do people keep saying he wants to win more than anything when he's gone out of his way to prove that it isn't true? Serious question.
