I Believe We Found Our Receiver

Mr. Holden's October 13, 2024 apology:

To my Oregon family, I am truly sorry for letting you down. You have shown me the importance of teamwork, discipline and respect, and my actions in that moment did not reflect those core principles. I recognize that this has negatively affected our team's reputation and I deeply regret putting us in that situation.
To Ohio State, I offer my sincerest apologies for my behavior. It was completely unacceptable and a momentary lapse in judgment. I want to emphasize that this incident does not reflect who I am as a person or the value I am to uphold.
Moving forward, I am committed to making meaningful changes, not only in managing my emotions during competition but in setting a better example for my teammates and the broader community. I am determined to demonstrate growth and maturity, both on and off the field and I hope I can earn back the trust of those I've let down. This incident has been a valuable lesson, and I am dedicated to becoming a better person, teammate and a positive role model in our community.

I did notice the apology's tweet (link) can no longer be found. Wonder how soon it was taken down in relation to the draft? The incident is something that is not easily forgotten. Perhaps keeping it up may have better helped his drafting opportunity as a reminder of his true character.

Someone wrote a nice apology for him!
Well done, writer

I truly think he's better than Mingo. Like I was saying, he has some dog in him.

That said, the Josh Kelly kid is pretty bad arse too. Great finds by the scouting department and front office.
Not sure how well they will separate in the nfl

As a Roll Tide guy I was intrigued with him as a recruit and his future potential. He didn't get the targets at Bama but showed some early promise.
Once he transferred to Oregon I did not follow him as much and only peeked at a few random Oregon game performances.

In my opinion his ceiling seems no worse than the existing WR room already in Dallas.
So for that reason I think he "might possibly" win a spot all things being equal and spots earned by merit.

This guy Treshon Holden was projected to be a 3rd round talent.

Turns out, he had some character issues, like spitting in a CBs face. Not cool. But if he can work through those and dedicate himself to football, he's got some serious talent and upside and it's very possible he could challenge Tolbert for targets.

We stole this UDFA. I'm calling it now. He makes the 53...

lol.

Here come the fans talking about UDFA like they are comparable to guys like Golden and Tet.

Y’all need to stop with this.

You don’t slide completely out of the draft because you spit on a teammate.

You slide out of the draft completely with upcoming murder or other charges that you’re being questioned on.

Heck Tunsil only dropped to the middle of the first and he had a darth vader helmet on smoking a bong.

Actually both the UDFA wr they signed look like they make the roster
Both were top 25 ranked available after the draft

Josh Kelly isn’t fast but he’s big and pretty smooth WR.

Dallas should have drafted Golden. But it worked out better for the kid since he will have a much better QB throwing to him in Green Bay.

I wonder who wrote that for him, because he damn sure did not write that himself because it's worded to professional.

(oh, I see some other posters had the same question as me).

Kiper had him at WR58. Not saying that's the final word on him but even if he was halfway up the board at WR29 that's some bold comments.

He should have left it up. It was well said.

Who has him as a 3rd?
Draft buzz ranked him 271 45th position!
Zeirlein ranked him an UDFA 45th position!
6’2 receivers who can’t beat press coverage, do a poor job tracking the ball, and are slow to excellerate on turns and after the catch aren’t usually ranked 3rd.
I doubt there’s anything here that even makes Brooks sweat!

We have coaching ties with their program, should know everything about the player on and off the field.
I think he has a solid chance to make the roster
His speed is why he dropped but he’s a solid blocker, decent hands and the staff knows him. May be effective on ST too.
