priest for him straight up

and d. davis and 3rd for him

they wont pass both of them up for sure

birds dont want us to have him

no sane person would even think about trading anything of value for him, let alone a starting RB.

How many usernames does you know who have. The timing of this thread is just amazing.

I tend to agree with you. I don't think he hits the streets.

Did you hear this from someone?

About Priest straight up?

or are you speculating?

This will certainly be interesting.....I really don't know what to think here.

it might be that T.O never hits the street but it certainly won't be for someone like Priest or Davis

ENOUGH, ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:bang2::bang2::bang2::bang2::bang2:

I didn't agree with that part.....But I thought maybe he had heard something.

Don't know how many times it needs to be said, but it doesn't matter what the Eagles want!!!! NO team is going to take a $9 million cap hit on T.O., and that's what the cap hit would be this year unless Owens, and Rosenhaus, restructure his deal with the new team. That being said, if T.O. does not want to play for a team for any reason all he has to do is refuse to restructure his contract. That should be enough to fend off the other teams. And, if that isn't enough, those other teams aren't going to trade for T.O. if he doesn't let's them know that he has NO desire to play for them. All those other teams have to do is look at what happened last year to Baltimore and then to the Eagles themselves. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY KNOW WAY OWENS GETS TRADED TO A TEAM THAT HE DOES NOT WANT TO PLAY FOR, and right now it looks like the Cowboys are the team of his choice. As much as some of us Cowboy fans dislike it, everybody is going to have to live with the real possibilty of Owens becoming a Cowboy tomorrow night, or maybe wednesday.

Not if we committ suicide.

I agree - TO will not hit the street tomorrow. Trade or Eagles retain his rights to help foster a trade down the line.

FYI - Owens 2006 Salary is only $770K Which is very cap friendly.

You forget whoever picks him up has to pay the $5 million roster bonus tomorrow. Not going to happen, any team that trades for him would have to know they can sign him long term. Do you really think the Eagles are going to pay him $5 million to foster a trade? TO has all the cards and will be released tomorrow.

terrell gets what terrell wants...in most cases....if he doesnt want to play for the team that he gets traded to, he will do the big baltimore fiasco again ....either way i think he will be released and cowboys will sign him....

Nors, if you think the Eagles are paying T.O. $5 million tomorrow, you have lost touch with reality and completely forgotten about the disaster the Eagles dealt with and endured the past season. That organization despises T.O.

Any team in this deal is going to want to restructure that contract.

Could they trade him? Sure they could, but another team is going to want some protection for them in that contract after last year's fiasco.
This isn't a question of how cap-friendly the current deal is.
To simply accept his current contract with no changes in the language or bonus structure would be MALFEASANCE on the part of a G.M.

And TO isn't going to play on that contract either. He is going to make demands and would have to agree to go to that team. Nobody wants an unhappy TO. There is a miniscule chance of a team, TO, and the eagles to come to an agreement; just not likely. Compare it to Glover and Coakley, those guys were worth trading for and the Cowboys had to release them because of their contracts and no takers.

Well aware - might be worth $5M to get a draft pick and move TO out of division.

You know that TO's 2006 contract is only $770K - Very cap friendly in a trade. Problem is teams are calling Lurie's hand - decision on bonus tomorrow. He contrary to popular believe has options.

To lose touch with reality, don't you have to at one time actually have touch with it?
