The biggest weapon on this team is the backup rb

and there are people on here wondering why this team wants to add a potential weapon

uhhhh , it’s not very complicated

I'm a little torn on whether or not I want to sign OBJ. For me it comes down to the contract amount because I do think we are better with him than without him so I hope it works out for us and he comes here. But, I am already done with the players openly courting him and the Jones boys publicly discussing the topic every few days. Just makes us look desperate and foolish if he goes elsewhere. We have a huge win yesterday and I have to see Parsons and Tank courting him on Twitter and Jerry discussing how it's time to visit with him. It's getting embarrassing and I can see how it's going to end. How about they talk about how well they played and how with or without him they are going to be ain the playoff race as long as they play up to their capabilities.

I don't like this courtship b/c it is not likely to hep the team this year. So, why add the distraction of a celebrity WR like OBJ and all the expectations to get him the ball? After routing what was the best team in the NFC yesterday on their home field, I don't see why we need to make this move.

The key to this team getting to the Super Bowl is running the ball and that pass rush. Adding a WR like OBJ puts pressure on the play caller to throw more and we don't need that.
I think the key to this team winning a SB is stopping the run. Had they not done that early yesterday it would have been a far different game. What worries me is that teams that have made it their business to run the ball against us have rammed it down our throat.
I think OBJ would definitely create a lot of room for others with his home run threat. SOmebody earlier said Lamb was a better run after the catch receiver, and while CD is excellent at that I remember OBJ taking a few 7 yard slants to the house against us. He was unreal if he got the ball in the open field. Not sure how he'll be now, but worth a shot IMO.

Another plus is it keeps our opponents from getting him.

Just watch the GB game and see just 1 receiver doing anything, Beckham takes this offense to another level.
This is exactly it. Beckham has 25 catches for 316 yards and scored 2 touchdowns in 5 games in the playoffs in his career

I'll say it for the twentieth time. He's not needed.

Sure he is. We need another WR that can make plays and stretch the field. Everyone said the same things about Antonio Brown and OBJ the last years. Tampa and Rams both benefited and won rings with both.
