LoL I literally joined this forum back in 21 because I felt the need to step in for the guy against all the "he won't do anything" threads at the time of the Minnesota game. He is the perfect back up.

But he's not good enough to be a starter. He couldn't carry the team for a season. So all these "he's batter than Dak" posts are nonsense.

But sometimes it feels like it's another team with him on the field. Everything slows down, feels more in control. More "ball management" than exciting plays. They almost seem to have a different play book with him and the players around him try a little bit harder.

I'm still sure he can't repeat his 4-1 run though. But maybe he can change the attitude a little. Less clown show, more football team. Even if it's a below 500 one. For now that would give me a little bit of comfort.

Ironic....on his 5-1 stretch, the last game was vrs Philly. They pressed coverage, just chocked our pass game up, picked off several.
We have probably less deep speed now, doubt C.Rush arm even as strong vrs then.
Hope MM can roll him out, motion, rubs, bunch sets... O.Line show up better

The problem is that he is simply not an NFL level quarterback.

He’s not even a really good backup QB.

He’s just a guy who Jerry likes that was carried to a few wins years ago when Dak was hurt. His own play in those games was not good. His physical tools are just bad.

At this point the season is cooked and, since any wins from here on out don’t do anything more than give me a reason to smile while the game is actually being played, I suppose him being bad is ok.

What? I know you hate Dak, but did I just read that you think we’ll have a more vertical passing attack with Cooper Rush?

The guy has a very weak arm and anything beyond 20 yards in the air, and I’m being generous, floats because he needs “hang time” on his passes to get them down field.

I didn’t want them to extend Dak either, but your post is just terrible and feels more like an “influencer selling their brand” type of post than it is a serious comment.

We heard all this... noise.... before. "tank now" they said. And yeah sure...maybe coop didn't do it all by himself. But I am SURE the defense appreciated few TOs.

Some people won’t even give Cooper Rush a chance and that’s the intent! This thread has nothing to do with Dak! At 5-1 he’s at least earned the right to have a chance. That’s the point!
