1. The hitting of the face mask on Bradford didn't affect the throw... so they just wanted the call... nothing more?

2. What fumble replay or call are they referring to?

Thank you in advance

1: PF for touching of QB's helmet, regardless of timing.
2: Minny punt muff - Wilber big time play (I believe).

The hit to the helmet came after Bradford had already released the ball...no effect (but still should have been called...Minny also false started on the same play but wasn't called either).

There were several fumbles, but I'm assuming you're referring to the fumble on a punt return that was not called on the field. JG challenged that the ball was fumbled and Dallas recovered. He won the challenge, Dallas got the ball on the 8 yd line, and scored on an 8 yd pass to Dez on the next play.

Cedric came down with both arms extended to knock pass down. Pass already was thrown, one hand came down on shoulder pads and actually shielded a clear view for the referee after grazing the side of Sam's face mask.

Fumble was on punt to Thielen who caught it, began to take off while Wilber began to strip the football. Knee never touched before ball coming loose.

It was one of those plays/moments that good teams make.

There were two huge overturned fumble calls in the game. The first was on Zeke's fumble at our own 15, which was overturned by official review (ruled a turnover on the field, so review was automatic). The second was Thielen's fumble on the punt return. That one we had to challenge, since the ruling on the field was down by contact.

The hit on Bradford at the end....the most important part of that was that no-call didn't affect the outcome of the game. Meaning it didn't cause Minny to lose.

Yeah. Even if called, half the distance to the goal line. So Minny runs a play from like the 3.5 yard line and it's no gimme they convert with that crap offense.

If its not to personal and you don't mind me asking, why didn't you watch the game. I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering.

If its not to personal, why didn't you watch the game? I hope it's something cool, like you were on a spy mission or something. Lol

1) It should have been called and would have given the Vikings another shot at a 2 point conversion.
2) http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-...hielen-fumbles-on-punt-return-Cowboys-recover
Ok first off that is the coolest signature picture I have seen. It combines my two favorite things. Where did you get that and how can I get one. That is really cool.

One thing that annoys me about all this complaining about the Bradford no call is how many times in the last 5-6 years was Romo hit in the head and there wasn't a call. Boo hoo Vikings you didn't get the call. We didn't get the call on the false start on the same play. I admit that it should have been called but what irritates me is all the times Romo was hit in the head, or hit late, or had roughing the passer that didn't get called. between 2010-2014 there was a lot of times that Romo got hit illegally and it wasn't called. It might not have happened at the end of a game on a possible scoring play but it still happened. And as another poster put it in another thread, Whenever the Viking are robbed in Green Bay on a catch that was ruled a no catch on a 4th down that went for a TD in the playoffs, then come and complain to us.

Say what you will about Wilber, that was an awesome, athletic play to cause and recover the fumble basically in midflight.
Also say what you will about "replay", it probably won the game for us last night. Wilber's recovery deep in their side of the field resulted in a DC TD, Zeke recovering his own fumble deep in our side of the field resulted in a punt for our better defensive field position. Both were overturned calls.
The refs were terrible on both sides of the ball last night.

Actually, false start ends the play. Dead ball foul, retry from the 12. The play never happened
You're absolutely correct. The play should have been blown dead and the ball placed at the 12. We'll never know what might have happened. I only care about what DID happen! 11-1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The false start by Minny on the same play should also have been called. Should have been offsetting penalties and replayed from the same spot.

They should have called the false start. The play would have been dead at that point and the ball moved back another 5 yards,, 2 pt conversion from the 12. The hit to the head should have been called though, but it had no effect on the outcome of the play.

1) Like everyone said, the throw was made just before the face mask/helmet hit. I'm sure Thornton's pressure helped cause the disastrous throw (out of the endzone...nobody had a play on it) but the hit to the helmet was on the follow-through. The PF should have been called, but whatever. :)

2) Theilen caught the punt at the 8, took a couple of steps, got stripped on the way down and before hitting the ground. But then the ball landed in his lap while he was laying one the ground. Minny thought play over at that point but in the scrum we got the ball as a play continuation, I suppose. I assume that even though the ball was in his lap with him lying on the ground, it was ruled he did not have full possession before losing it a second time.
Very tough call for Minny, but I kind of think the replay crew got in right in our favor.
