Tell the media to stop asking him questions and then you won't hear him say anything.

Do you think Dak just go up to journalists and say, "hey cut your mic on, I got something to say"?

What do you expect him to do when he's asked questions after a game he didn't play in and he's wearing street clothes and a journalist ask him a question??? Ignore him?? Then you all would be the first to say Dak is an *** for blowing off reporters. He's damned if he don't and he's damned if he do.....

He's asked questions after practice and after games lately that he hasn't played in..... what exactly do you want him to SHOW YOU at those specific times of answering questions??

"I can't wait to get healthy so I can get back and help my teammates but Rush is doing a great job in my absence."

Is that so difficult instead insinuating the offense will take off when it's fully healthy....i.e. when he is fully healthy the offense will be better than what Rush is showing.

Despite a solid job by Cooper Rush managing this team while Dak was gone, I don't believe Dak will just come in and light it up. Dak hasn’t had a chance to get into a groove with this offense like Rush has.

We have to show patience for a game or two (as long as we're winning) while Dak gets into a rhythm with this offense. This is not giving Dak any excuses or any passes, but I don't expect to see a solid outing by Dak until the first game after the bye because I still don't believe that hand is fully healed.

Do I believe Dak can play well enough to contribute to winning these next two games before the bye??? Absolutely. But do I think he's going to come in lighting it up?? Absolutely not. Again, let's not kid ourselves with expectations of some heroic performance by Dak after a long layoff recovering from the hand injury.

Oh yeah.... don't think for a minute that opposing defenses aren't going to take the opportunity to swipe at Dak's hand to see how well it holds up, so Rush need to stay ready!!
I agree. he has played only 3/4 of a meaningful game since last year. no snaps in preseason. coming off right thumb surgery and injury. I expect to see and uptick in offense, but not fully there. there will be some good throws where we will say, rush couldn't do that and there will be some bad throws where Dak haters will say, there, you see the inaccuracy. his timing will be off with the WRs but expect to get better as game goes along. the next game he should be better.

Josh Allen is taking up 40mil and hasn't won a thing. Kyler murray is taking up 40mil and hasn't won a thing. Deshaun Watson is taking up 40mil and hasn't won a thing. Aaron Rodgers is taking up 40mil and hasn't won a thing in 13 years. Derek Carr is taking up 35mil.... you get the picture at this point. Not sure if you're unaware how the business of the NFL works but ill help clue you in. All good qbs are paid not just the ones who "have won a thing". I know... shocking right? Btw only 1 qb wins a SB per year. I guess we should only pay those guys who have "won a thing" though right?
the 40M is a talking point of Dak haters.

ask them how they would address the QB position and get the fantasy football league answer.

Let's give him an extension of 500 million for another 4 years......I mean jeez why go to the Draft and get one like most teams when you have the greatness of Dak under center!!!
Did the Dallas Cowboys exist prior to Dak???:omg:

Dak needs to trust the OL and RBs to make some yards and has to understand that even a 3 yard run is a good run.
I'll believe it when I see it done consistently.

I don't believe Dak's ego, right now, would allow him to only pass the ball only 16 times, even if it works and we win by 2 TDs like we did with Cooper Rush against the Rams.

This. He has eight screws and a plate in his hand now
which he is going to have to get accustomed to when throwing the ball. Rust should be expected.

Right now just looking for efficient play from Dak. He does not have to come in looking to win the game on his own, stay within the framework of the offense, use the run game and play action off of it. Take your shots down field when the opportunity present itself.

Dallas will likely come out with the same run it til you stop us offense.
The difference is when they do flood the box Dallas will now take more deep shots.
Not sure if Dak has timing with these guys Sunday but he will almost certainly take a few deep shots and he has been a top 5 deep ball QB since 2017.

I believe he will play very efficiently, with a lot of play action and likely a couple deep ball completions to boost his yardage totals.

Asked to guess I'd suggest a line like 18-24 for 275 yards and 2 TDs passing. --2 more rushing TDs and a FG to put 31 on the board and win by 10-14.

I am good with that. in fact I think $500M is not enough...I would try and push it to around $600M if I was him. I would keep dak and keep extending until he is about 40 years old.

I think the cowboys franchise are only 6 years old, if I recall correctly. one of the newest and best franchises who ever entered the NFL.

I don't think its his ego, its just that he has been taught to see the defense and call the play and they show run defense and he automatically changes the call to pass. but he needs to learn to trust the OL and their run execution even if he sees a run defense.

don't forget we won by 2 TDs against the rams because the defense gifted the team with 9 points. offense was abysmal in that game.

Allen has more playoff wins in less years than Dak and Allen led Buffalo to an AFC Championship game; Murray should never have been given the contract he received nor should have Watson as neither earned those deals; Rodgers has 4 losing seasons in 14 seasons and led GB to a 13-3 season 3 seasons in a row so do not use him and Dak in the same sentence; Derek Carr may be a quality QB but he has been on a crap team for years.

Regardless of how the 2 TD win happened I don't see Dak just sitting back and letting the run game do their thing.

Especially now.

We went 4-1 with Cooper Rush while Dak ran his yap any chance he got about how the offense was going to "roll" when he got back. He's going to want to come out and show it. I believe the team as a whole will suffer for it if things go the route that Dak always seems to take things.

I just ask that if things look different, if the defense struggles because they're on the field after quick 3 and outs a bunch, if the O-line suddenly can't block and we give up sacks, if the run game can't get going, and the plays don't seem to be working... take into account that a QB change happened.

So You expect Dallas to have even less TOP than we currently do? Dallas is 29th in TOP meaning we are not moving the ball we are getting a lot of 3 and outs and we are ranked 30th in 3rd down conversion and now it is going to get worse?
