I'm telling you, there is a good chance Chase Daniel is there in the second round.

That was the wrong answer Tony, and now I surely don't trust you.

I lost trust in him a long time ago. Glad others are seeing the light.

i want us to draft and develop a QB but Chase Daniel??? Not only is he a midget but he basically folded against every top team he faced with horrible turnovers! Why would we want a more sorry version of Tony Romo???

The day that his off the field antics outshined his on the field play, was the day i lost all faith and respect in Romo. I hate his attitude....I hate it....What kind of answer is that.....He is a freaking disgrace. hes got his millions and his blonde bimbo and hes perfectly fine with that....I would rather sit through another 5-11 year with Quincy Carter, than a year like this with Romo. Atleast Quincy played to the best of his abilities.....Romo is a punk. He went out today like a punk.

This is why Romo is a loser and will always be a loser.

yet he's banging hot chicks and getting millions to do a job most of us can only dream about, yup he's a loser

I don't like his happy go lucky attitude towards football but it is what it is until we get a coach that will get in people's faces about their mistakes

This is the problem, attitude, desire, heart, intensity, urgency

when your star QB says we are going to try to make the playoffs next year, but if we dont, ok, and shrugs shoulders, like its nothing,

thats the problem attitude, focus on this team thinking they dont have to practice, and good ole wade lets them off on certain extra days, when he shouldnt, this team was outcoached, and you know whom, it starts with good ole wade phillips

You're taking it way out of context. In the grand scheme of life it's just a game....get over your self.

I just said the VERY same thing in another thread (before seeing this one).

I think that poor heartless attitude starts with Romo and THAT is proof.

"Oh well, we'll get'em next time" = no heart, no fire. Honestly if that's his attitude, I thin he needs to go. Seriously, Dallas doesn't need that on this team.

He might as well have just said "oh well, I gots mine"

Well, Jerry's tied just about everybody up through 2011 and 2012. But its easier for me to include the guys I still want here because its a short list:

Davis
Colombo
Witten
Bennett
Choice
Felix
Barber
Austin
Ratliff
Ware
James (won me over this year)
Spencer (critical year for this clown)
Romo ( somehow I'm still hoping he'll get smart and re-dedicate himself).
Scandrick
Jenkins ( although not sold on him)

Before anyone flames me, this is just a list of guys that I thnk care and can play a little. I fully realize dogs like Roy11, Flozell, and Hamlin will still be here.

After his play this season and that statement, I just lost a ton of respect for Romo. Makes me want to puke...then punch him.

I'll tell you when I lost respect for him. Remember after the Cincy game. Every analyst agreed that he was not sharp. His response: "I'm sorry I'm not sorry we won!". Complete idiot.

Chase Daniel will be there in the 4th round if not 5th when he measures 5'9" at the combine.

Matt Cassal?????

Cassell is going nowhere. The latest report says that Tom Brady's recovery is way behind schedule, and he could miss the 2009 season.

If you want an answer, it would be a rehabbed Brady starting for us in 2010, because I think his days in New England are finished.

Cassell will want top dollar now, and the Pats will not have Brady in 2009.

I didn't hear about Brady not coming back next year.

But I don't think The Pats will pay Cassal what he would want.

What did you want him to say? He has no control over next year, right now. He has no idea who will be here, who won't, and he can't do anything about any injuries we could endure next year, much like this year.

All he can do this offseason is try and improve himself and do all he can to win. I really don't know what anyone expects him to say to stupid questions about playoffs next year.

This may get me crucified, but I want to say a word in defense of Drew Bledsoe and if it seems like I am slamming Romo, so be it.
I seem to remember the reason Big Bill benched Drew was because he "didn't take care of the ball." At that time, I felt that instead of blaming Bledsoe, Jerry should have be ripped for bring Bledsoe in when A) the oline could not protect him, and B) Bledsoe could not scramble. Most on this board said that Tony Romo was the answer because he could scramble and by time. I accepted that but still felt bad for Drew. Most on this board treated Bledsoe like he was public enemy #1.
Now, here we are 2 1/2 years later, and I am hearing people say that it is not Romo's fault because the Oline is not giving him enough protection. To me this is hypocrasy at its finest. Let's at least be consistant. If you blamed Bledsoe and felt his turnovers were holding Dallas back from being a playoff/championship team, then you must hold Romo to the same standard.
Now before anyone starts thinking I want Drew back or I want Tony gone, that is not the case. I just feel it is time to bring in a real back-up QB that can A) Push Romo for the starting job, and B) lead the team to a win against lowlife teams like the St. Louis Rams. Tony's free ride is over in my opinion. It is time for him to earn his money:starspin
