Tony is still the guy for the foreseeable future, but the bloom is definitely off the rose. Don't combine bad play with a nonchalant attitude and expect fans not to notice.

You've gotta be ****ing kidding me! No, Tony, it's not 'ok' if you don't make the playoffs! You are being paid an ungodly amount of money to make SURE the team gets into the playoffs! I've never heard such a bull**** answer before in my LIFE!

Kiss my *** Tony you pathetic ****ing loser!

Sorry but I'm more pissed about his attitude than the damn game...and I am a huge Romo fan.

This is the thing about Romo that people dont understand...Romo IS laid back because he has already won the "superbowl" in his life...He was a QB from east podunk university who is couldnt even get drafted by the NFL and now he QB's America's Team and went to the Probowl and has a glamour girlfriend and has all the money he will ever need....This guy has already won the lottery 4 times over and for him winning a real superbowl would okay but I'm sure he thinks things are pretty cool just the way they are right now.

i want us to draft and develop a QB but Chase Daniel??? Not only is he a midget but he basically folded against every top team he faced with horrible turnovers! Why would we want a more sorry version of Tony Romo???

What CHase Daniel did you watch? He broke every damn record for passing at Mizzou and had them ranked higher than I have ever seen them in my life. Yeah he lost to Oklahoma, but so does almost everyone.

The guy will be a great pro, book mark this and throw it in my face if I'm wrong.

This is the problem, attitude, desire, heart, intensity, urgency

when your star QB says we are going to try to make the playoffs next year, but if we dont, ok, and shrugs shoulders, like its nothing,

thats the problem attitude, focus on this team thinking they dont have to practice, and good ole wade lets them off on certain extra days, when he shouldnt, this team was outcoached, and you know whom, it starts with good ole wade phillips

accepting losses? what else can we do?

well he can go home and motorboat Jessica so thats a plus....but i don't like the way he went against his head coach on that 4 and 1 by blowing off the punt team regardless if he made that.....that speaks volumes of their relationship and how Romo feels he is running the team himself.

I didn't hear about Brady not coming back next year.

But I don't think The Pats will pay Cassal what he would want.

Then they had better have another option at QB.

This may get me crucified, but I want to say a word in defense of Drew Bledsoe and if it seems like I am slamming Romo, so be it.
I seem to remember the reason Big Bill benched Drew was because he "didn't take care of the ball." At that time, I felt that instead of blaming Bledsoe, Jerry should have be ripped for bring Bledsoe in when A) the oline could not protect him, and B) Bledsoe could not scramble. Most on this board said that Tony Romo was the answer because he could scramble and by time. I accepted that but still felt bad for Drew. Most on this board treated Bledsoe like he was public enemy #1.
Now, here we are 2 1/2 years later, and I am hearing people say that it is not Romo's fault because the Oline is not giving him enough protection. To me this is hypocrasy at its finest. Let's at least be consistant. If you blamed Bledsoe and felt his turnovers were holding Dallas back from being a playoff/championship team, then you must hold Romo to the same standard.
Now before anyone starts thinking I want Drew back or I want Tony gone, that is not the case. I just feel it is time to bring in a real back-up QB that can A) Push Romo for the starting job, and B) lead the team to a win against lowlife teams like the St. Louis Rams. Tony's free ride is over in my opinion. It is time for him to earn his money:starspin

Very well articulated and spot on!

Romo blew it with me after the 1st NYG game. Romo has been out 3 weeks watching his team get spanked by a bottom-dwelling STL, cling on to a narrow victory vs TB, and then spanked again by division rival NYG.

His "SB favorite" team is 5-4 and in shambles with apparently little leadership rally the troops and turn things around. When asked right after the NYG if he would be ready to play in two weeks vs the 6-3 skins, he replies, "we'll have to see after this week". ***.

I want my QB/Team Leader to say, "no doubt I'm playing. They would have to have an army to keep me off the field." Even if he subsequently was unable to play, it at least would signal to his teammates that he was going to everything possible to be the man they can count on to lead them.

You would think he would learn something by watching & rooming with Witten on heart and leadership.

Romo needs to hire a speech writer....at least pretend he cares. If he is the quarterback, and face of this franchise, and supposed to lead his team into battle, show some emotion for crying outloud. I realize these guys hate the media, but he comes across as though he's looking forward to his tee time this Tuesday.

and oklahoma st, and kansas, and of course my longhorns plus lost his biggest game of his career against oklahoma in 07 when a win gets them into the national championship! and you still havent said anything about his midget status! How many midget QB's have u ever seen have success in the NFL??? list is very small! He wont do crap as a pro! oh and its been bookmarked! haha

Tony played hard to get a hugh contract. Got it and now he's all about having his fun OFF the field. I say get someone in here to compete with him. See how serious he gets then.
There is workable idea.

Of course, you have to be able to accept losses. Especially when you get your *** kicked like we did today.

But what you can't accept is the type of performance that caused the defeat! More importantly is an acknowledgement of your deficiencies and how they contributed to the defeat(s).

Maybe Tony was saving up all his venom for a message board somewhere.

I'm sure you guys would respect that.

This thread was dead on. I posted a thread earlier on it when I hear this in Tony's press conference. This is EXACTLY why we will NOT win with Tony; he just doesnt care if he loses.............LOSER.
