I don't mean any disrespect but..

BTW it has not been determined whether Bradie James or Roy Williams was responsible for Shockey's catch. Fujita was covering a RB on that play; Shockey was not his man.

I thought Roy already accepted responsibility for the blown coverage?

Fujita gave up that play because he thought Shockey was going to sit in the flat but no, Shockey made the double move that ended up being a wheel route I AGREE EVERY PLAYER MAKES MISTAKES CANT DOWN THE GUY FOR THAT LITTLE MISS UP THE GUY IS IN THERE TO PLAY THE COACHES AINT STUPED THEY KNOW WHAT THERE DOING HES IN THERE FOR A REASON IM HAPPY WITH HIM BEING IN THERE
Your caps button got stuck.

Yes. But when he is ready, BP will put him in. What is the rush? I want to see TNew return punts but you don't see me pushing the panic button or telling everyone the sky is falling.

That "little mess up" put the Giants right back in the game. I know the "coaches aint stuped" but don't you want to see your 2nd round draft pick play?
I agree with you, but don't forget that Burnett missed a minicamp and then part of preseason with injuries. And he's only six games into his career... Have some patience. :)

But remember, Burnett might never be big enough to play OLB anyway. I'm not sure where he ends up, unless he plays that Jack position inside.

What I heard him say was that he did not get the call from the sidelines and get it relayed to the team, not that he was personally responsible for the coverage so in that regard it was Roy's fault. He might also have been directly responsible for the coverage; I don't know. But the player with the best position for the coverage and the guy who should have picked it up if he had any football smarts was Bradie James. Fujita wasn't even in the mix for guys who should have had Shockey. Fujita was covering someone else while James was standing around with his thumb up his...umm...behind him.

If you look on the bottom row of your keyboard, right under the "L" and to the right there is a dot. We call it a period here in the states. You are allowed to use it occassionally.............................................. See. :D

Why do we have a guy who wasn't really wanted on a Kansas City defense and let go for 2 very low round draft picks getting more playing time than our high 2nd rounder. Fujita gave up a 60 yard pass to Shockey and had 2 tackles against the Giants. Burnett could do that with his eyes closed. Bill is playing our younger guys (which I like) but where is Burnett. The guy makes plays when he's on the field and gets a feel for the game. He needs to be our OLB next year, why are we waiting?

Wasn't the Shockey TD attributed to Roy missing the call on the play?

He was a factor in that play, but not the biggest factor. Eli had too much time to throw. Plain and simple. Eli had enough time to wait for Shockey to run all the way across the field (from left to right) then turn up field.

why do we compare guys who don't play the same position?

burnett plays behind ware, has nothing to do with fugi

one word: depth....and oh yeh he plays special teams well

But they're both olb's, and Burnett wasn't moved to Ware's side until Fujita came on board.

Scott F. and Burnett don't play the same positions. Burnett backs up Ware. Let's see what happens a little later in the season.
