Not missing the point at all. I said what I did because I think many here are like me and just have this board (or as you call it, this part of the board) in favorites and if I decide to look at another board here I just go to them from this one. However I would say that is maybe 2 times a year?

Anyway, I totally understand, just don't agree with you and wanted to express my point of view.

And let me say I am sorry to all the english teachers here for my spelling because I never took typing and when I type as fast as I can I do make mistakes, plus I am dyslexic and that tends to make me make mistakes.

It's cool ....just wanted to point out that many really do not know about the other sections.

Futhermore about the spelling....I personally don't care for the posts ripping posters about spelling and such...just petty to me. Although on occasion I have seen posters where I really can not make out what they are trying to spell and that can be annoying.

Or sometimes i have trouble understanding nors with his yoda speak but for the most part I figure it out.

I for the life of me can't understand how you think it's good to have a board for the Cowboys and expect the people here to use a different board for draft talk. I am sorry but I think that is rediculas!

Mybe if you just want to use a different board for all the post of mock drafts, but how can you at this time really expect Cowboys fans not to talk about the draft and who they would like to see them take? After all the draft and the FA this off season is the most important stuff going when it comes to the Boys.

A Cowboys board is the correct place to talk about the future of the team and that is the draft and FA's.

Done venting now and please if you don't like my 2 cents I will leave for good because this will become a board that is just too restrictive for me. Not that this board would miss me and I do know that, even if I did give a small donation for the cost of this board!

Just remember guys, this board needs people to post not the other way around and the more restrictive it gets the more fustrated people will get. I would think most are like me and almost never look at the other boards.

Wow, welcome to every other board on the internet.

All message boards are split into various topics if the topic is disserving of it's own area. Like has been said, this makes conversating a whole lot easier...especially on a board such as this one with many people that visit it a day.

I know your hearing this from the stupid noob that never posts but being a somewhat avid gamer I've basically spent alot of my highschool years scanning video game message boards and a few sports boards in between...all are split into topics....so dont worry, the accopalayse isnt coming or anything.

I see what you and Brain are saying, but there's not going to be anything else to post on the main board, the busiest board with the most traffic...there's only so many of the Intercepterverde, J'ewel'ius, qb controversies, Parcells sucks, etc. threads that can be rehashed. IMO

I don't know, it seemed to me anyway the traffic last year on the main board was good.

It's not that the draft can't be discussed on the main board. It's all in how it's presented within the thread.

We want people to express thoughts about the team in order to get a thread started (in the main forum)... not just post Derrick Johnson's evaulation from Ourlads.

"Complaint Zone" for those who have a problem with the MODS or the way the site is managed.

"Flirt Zone" for those who want to post smilie icons in silly threads to Brownsugar or CowboyPrincess because they are sexually attracted to their avatars.

I agree. I think some forums like the Smack, College and Off-topics forums are appropriate but the NFL and Draft forums should be merged because so many topics intertwine with both of these. And the truth is people don't read the NFL and Draft forum. Post something in there and see how long it takes to get a response.
