I dont see any way out of this start

This may be the worse I have seen this team in years. There is no fixing everything that is wrong this season. They are stuck with our issues, and will only get worse with injuries. Reality is we are looking at an L this season.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that. Even if dallas runs into a few favorable matchups, which arnt many left on the schedule, those teams will put up a fight just like the bears and giants did and the cowboys will get beat.

Better teams will just beat us like a drum, and Dallas shoots themselves in the foot way too much to go toe to toe in an offensive shootout.

Lamb himself isnt enough to overcome the problem this team has, nor is the addition of Clark and Clowney.

Some of you may make smart remarks and say "well we might as well not even look at games anymore"....I am willing to accept a losing seasons and still enjoy watching the cowboys.

I dont see how anyone can see a positive path out of this season....and no, firing the defensive coordinator won't help either.
 
The NFL will make sure fans don’t tune out so early in the season. There are billions of dollars at stake.

Cowboy fans throwing in the white flag after game 3 is an NFL nightmare. Watching Cowboy fans exit at halftime to a chorus of boos on Sunday night would be the NFL’s worst nightmare.

I’m betting the refs and the Packers keep it close until the 4th quarter when most are asleep. You know what I’m saying. Money talks.
 
There is a positive out of this season if you accept what this season is. This season is a soft rebuild. I had pretty low expectations for this season if everyone stayed healthy and things went perfectly. When we traded Micah we really cemented a rebuild situation.

So this season can be a positive if you look at it as player development and building for the future. Losses like this may he beneficial to us if we have a lot of them and it shows Jerry that our coaches are subpar. If these losses show Jerry what contracts are eating us alive and how to purge those contracts. I'm thinking of Doggs specifically. I would like to come out of this season with Milton getting some games under his belt so we know what he is.

So if you accept playoffs are out of the picture and think of this year as a giant preseason then you won't be too disappointed. I've said this before but if real change can happen we'll have to hit rock bottom. Like 2 or 3 wins rock bottom. Getting boat raced by the Bears is pretty much rock bottom.
 
Let's how this team does with Bland, Revel, Overshown and Clowney in the lineup. I'm not a loser so I'm not writing the season off just yet. Doesn't surprise me that most here are though. :)
 
It’s just cyclical. We are now entering the loser phase of the cycle. This will last at least 3 years because Jerry was too prideful to park from players earlier who were bad and ate cap space (Zeke, Martin, etc)

overshown is a good player, but proving to be injury prone so not reliable. Revel...is a rookie. you dont know what you have in him regardless of what his scouting report says.. and bland is bland..a solid CB1. clowney...maybe has a lil left in the tank but on the wrong side of 30..but hey you keep up the hopium. Im proud for you.

Looking at one man showing intestinal fortitude from one angle can, at the same time, look like a man being a credulous, gullible dupe from another.

Bland= highly over rated
Revel= who knows yet
Overshown= broken, in all likelihood beyond proper repair (see Lee, Jaylon etc..)
Clowney= washed or he wouldnt even be here.

No difference makers there.

There is no player development when you have bottom five talent with a bottom five coach. This team needs real coaching from a top five coach Instead Jerry got himself a sock puppet and sold you the cheese.

I agree with that, however, that Offense is pretty much set and shouldnt need much developing. Agree the results mean nothing, Defense just looks scheme-skeptic and there's hope coming by the way of Overshown, Revel and Bland...... but that Offense is carrying a lot of CAP (+Pickens extension?).
