Have some confidence!I'm not saying it's a trap game, but I think it's a game that maybe isn't as exciting to be in as the other two. The first game was the home opener against a rival, the second was the first home game against a great defense. We've struggled with teams like this in the past. Everyone sees what we did the first two weeks and thinks the same will happen.
I say let's just see how the game plays out, then we can say whatever we want. HATS OFF to the cowboys for their play so far, just continue to have the same fire and enthusiasm for every game. Please give your thoughts...
I agreeI swear we are going to get threads like this every single week. Telling us how it is a trap game and the other team will be sneaky good. Heard it all week for the Giants and Jets games. If a team is locked in, there won't be any trap games. Especially since we will be in a fight with Philly and SF to get one of the top seeds. And against Philly to even win our division.
Dallas will be focused each and every week. We have vets that aren't going to allow us to have a sloppy week of preparation. Doesn't mean we will win every week but I don't see us losing because we weren't prepared.
Yeah, I suppose there's any given Sunday and all that claptrap, but this is not that trap game. I agree that the Pats game might be, but even that's a big maybe. Mac Jones is already hunting a hole to hide in from Parsons."The Cardinals are scary good! Josh Dobbs, James Connor, and Hollywood Brown are a three headed monster unlike anything seen since the Cowboys triplets of the 90s."
- Members of this site that are desperate to see the Cowboys lose a game so they can feel vindicated for their horrendous preseason takes on this team.
Acknowledging that any NFL opponent is good enough to beat you is one thing, but people being legitimately afraid of the Cardinals and screaming trap game after the start Dallas has had is just crazy.
Prepare to be disappointed. You can count on one hand the number of times this happens in an NFL game in one season. I couldn't tell you the last time I saw starters pulled in the 3rd quarter. Rush and Co were put in until roughly halfway or so through the 4th against the Giants. If I don't see key starters on the cowboys out of this game by midway through the third quarter because this game is well in hand, I will be seriously disappointed....
Agreed. At this early stage, it's as difficult to determine the "worst" team in the league as it is to confidently crown the "best" one.Mixed feelings about this one. Yes, I have every reason to believe this will be a Cowboys blowout. But Arizona has a history of playing us tough and have won the last 3 out of 4 games, I believe? While the Cards are 0-2, I don't see them as a bottom 5 team. I won't write them off just yet.
Why don't you see them as a bottom 5 team? They were last year(4-13), and dumped some talent.Mixed feelings about this one. Yes, I have every reason to believe this will be a Cowboys blowout. This is the game the offense really puts it together. Run game dominates with some big plays. Deuce gets his first TD of the year.I'm not saying it's a trap game, but I think it's a game that maybe isn't as exciting to be in as the other two. That would be sweet. Even in Arizona I’m sure there will be plenty of DEUUUUUCE yells. This is the game the offense really puts it together. Run game dominates with some big plays. Deuce gets his first TD of the year.
He really has and he’s called good games. I think Moore has a good offensive mind but didn’t call good games. MM calls the game so much different than Moore did and it fits perfectly with the defense. This D dominates and MM sees that the offense doesn’t have to take so many risk. Just protect the ball, move the chains, eat the clock, and put up 21 points and that will will most games. There may be games he has to open it up but no reason too till you have toMM has had his team up and ready to play for both of their 1st 2 games, they'll be ready, this team is hungry!
How many times are we going to say this smh.I'm not saying it's a trap game, but I think it's a game that maybe isn't as exciting to be in as the other two. No one is afraid of the Cardinals, some fans are afraid that the Cowboys won’t take them seriously and it could lead to an ugly win or an upset. Let’s not forget, Joshua Dobbs did have some success against us last season when he played for Tennessee.Acknowledging that any NFL opponent is good enough to beat you is one thing, but people being legitimately afraid of the Cardinals and screaming trap game after the start Dallas has had is just crazy.
Exactly. 3-0 with health on our sideJust get the W. I don't care if it's by a point or 50. Just get it and leave there injury-free. These games scare me the most.
You need to take a deep breath my friend, and do more homework, it will sooth your soul.I'm not saying it's a trap game, but I think it's a game that maybe isn't as exciting to be in as the other two.
