I'm curious to hear you rationale provided its not just vague anti-Kelley homerism. If we are talking specifically about their respective bodies of work as NFL head coaches I'd have to disagree with you.
Both the tangible and intangible results are in Garrett's favor, in my opinion.

Kelley has a higher winning percentage, more double digit wins than Garrett in fewer years, is ahead in the standings this year, and has had nothing close to Romo behind center. What is the compelling counter argument that Garrett is the superior coach AT THIS POINT in their respective careers?
We'll probably have to agree to disagree. But, here goes:
Tangible = Garrett has had more success. We were legitimate Super Bowl contenders last year. Yes, Kelley made it to the playoffs in his 1st year, but they were promptly bounced in the 1st round. Last season they completely fell apart when it mattered, which is when we turned it up and had a dominant December.
Intangible = Kelley is destroying Philly's roster and his program is gimmick based. Garrett is building a real program and a real roster. Kelley's ego drives him. Garrett is a true team player.
Plus, Chip Kelly doesn't look to be very smart for a genius.

Disclaimer: I loathe the Eagles.
Your own argument proves my point -- Eagles have lost their top QB, RB, and WRs and are still ahead of us in the standings. I hope I can't say that a few weeks from now but that is the reality at present.
That doesn't make any sense.
The topic is "which of these 2 head coaches has had more success in the NFL". The logical answer is Garrett. The tangible results on the field support this.
why are you and others still knocking Garrett, who in the NFL that is available is better? No one, in college No one, well maybe one and that would be Brian Kelley. Garrett is the right man for the job, you cannot find any successful coach in the NFL that has never gone through a tough stretch and lost 5 or more games in a row, every coach goes through something like this in their career
but, I do not see us winning tonight.
1. We tend to struggle on Sunday Night, and that is even with Romo. Without him, our offense is a big giant pile of elephant poop.
2. Garrett doesn't hold the players accountable when they mess up. He is too busy smiling, clapping, butt slapping and high fiving.
3. We always lose the turnover battle. Our D isn't all that bad, they are pretty good, except for 1 area. They refuse to take the ball away from the opponent. Meanwhile, our offense is like Santa Claus, giving out the pigskin like here and there and everywhere.
4. Too many LOS penalties, mainly on our offense. Too many holds, false starts, and hands to the face are absolutely killing us.
5. Our ST return team sucks. Our coverage team is decent.
6. The refs will find a way to really bend us over, prison style, and make a couple of critical calls that we will not be able to overcome. Then, on Monday, the league will apologize yet again for the erroneous actions of their officiating crew.
It will be a close game. We will have our opportunities. However, our offense and the refs will find a way to break our hearts.
I have been positive all year long, and I hate feeling so negative, but, I just can't escape this feeling. It absolutely sucks expecting a loss before the game even starts. It reminds me of the Campo years.
Not if your logic is based on actual win-loss record. Don't mean to be dense.
I'll tell you this... The 49ers won today with lousy Blaine Gabbert at QB. And he made plays. Other teams occasionally win with their backup QB. How about Dallas go out there with Cassel, stop making excuses that they don't have #9 and win a game for a change? Instead of following the excuse leader, Garrett.
Well, there's more to it than overall win-loss record. Specifically, post season success, which, to me is paramount. And Garrett has had more of that than Chip. We can also consider the overall direction of each team and the quality of roster and roster moves (again, an area where I feel Garrett has the upper hand).
I'm sure you don't intend to be dense; maybe that's just the way you are?
We just need to stay in the game until mid way though 3rd quarter .. then bring Weeden in ... he always seems to play well when coming as a substitute..
