I agree. How anyone can think we're going into a year deliberately cutting our 2nd or even 3rd pass rusher in our defensive scheme without a replacement in hand is not seeing things clearly IMO.

I sort of think it will happen but if it doesn't it would likely be because we've now shaved enough money off the cap (BJ + Roy + Henry - TO = significant savings) to not have to make any more of these cuts.

Yes. I do.

This team has plenty of talent to win without those two. The problems were in chemistry and execution. Apparently TO was a major source of discord, and this hopefully fixes that. And if it fixes that, then this team is better, even given the incremental decrease in talent. And I imagine Roy's attitude and diminishing skills did not help any either.

Of course, if this does not solve the chemistry problems and the same chemistry issues and execution exists, then we probably are not better off. But I suspect that, like his previous places, TO was a major cause of discord.

The talent level decreased. But I think the team overall is better off.

We've got plenty of room. Cutting TO costs us an extra 1 million, not 9.6. Cutting Roy saves us about 2. Cutting Henry and Johnson saved us millions. Our draft picks will not cost us very much at all in terms of cap hit due to the Rule of 51 and our lack of a 1st rounder.

Resigning Ware is going to cost some serious coin for sure but we've got more than enough to do that, sign the picks and make some moves, if that's what JJ wants to do.

I expect a signing or player trade soon just for the fact that Jerry Jones can't handle negativity surrounding the Cowboys.

And I think there's a strong stench of negativity around the Cowboys today with the releases of Roy Williams and Terrell Owens.

I expect a move fairly quickly in an attempt to turn around public perception.

Spencer did not play "fine" he barely played decent in his p.t. and half the time he did play he got hurt
