Whst bothers me most is that nobody respects the Star anymore. Better teams come into our house harass the team and now harass our cheerleaders. Cheerleader reported the GB players constantly in their face screaming and hollering about how bad they kicking the Cowboys azz. Don't know about you guys but I've had enough of people not respecting this team. Cheerleaders whatever? I mean just showing up with a no respect attitude and the team rolls over like old yellow Tails wagging wanting a belly rub. When Jimmy was here-teams feared us. Now we're just a side show.

That is that absolutely disgusting. Where did you hear this about the cheerleaders? If that's the case I'm about done with this team.

Here's one big difference I've noticed between being a Cowboys fan in the 70s/early 80s, and being one now. Back then, if the team made the NFC Championship game and lost, it was a letdown. It was seen as a failure. In fact, that happened three years in a row with Danny White at quarterback, and he caught a lot of flak for it. Today, just getting to the NFCC is the goal. We haven't even been able to do that this decade. We came close in 2014, and probably would have just slipped into the NFCC if it hadn't been for that strange Dez catch/no-catch play.

That's unsportsmanlike conduct, and is wrong regardless of how bad a team is playing. The players and coaches are definitely responsible for how the team plays, but the cheerleaders aren't. They're there just for fun, and they don't even get paid very much. If a player harasses a cheerleader, he should be thrown out of the game and should be fined by the NFL. The players should expect some smack talk, but a cheerleader might be some 21-year-old young woman from a small town to dreamed of being a pro cheerleader. That's someone's daughter. Those scumbags should leave them alone. I've also heard stories of obnoxious fans pinching a cheerleader's behind, which is also massively inappropriate. If a fan does that, he should also be kicked out.

Yes.. I laugh when people comment on the 'dark days' of Danny White.. and I've seen multiple opinions stating that we should keep Dak otherwise we could go back to those dark days.

The 'dark days' when Danny White led us to conference championship games.. and had a 5-4 playoff record after his first 4 seasons starting.

The straight truth is that the only QB that equals Daks complete lack of success over such a long period is Romo.. and there have been multiple comments around the difference in their play.

Dak has not even got close to an NFCC.. like not even close.. the closest was his rookie year when he stunk it up and then we nearly clawed our way back in. Since then we haven't even been close.. If Dak hadn't got there because of a freak ref decision, a missed 15 yard FG or bobbled FG attempt then maybe it is different.. but the reality is that a Dak led Cowboys team has, at no point, looked likely to win a divisional round game. I really don't see how JJ can't see the obvious.

Dak will go down as our 'best' QB on stats and go down as our worst, longest stretch of perpetual failure in history. What a joke.

Yes, and I don't think people realize how close White and the '81 Cowboys came to playing in the Super Bowl. The '81 Cowboys and '81 49ers were two very evenly matched teams. The Cowboys just didn't have luck on their side that day. Our best D-lineman, John Dutton, was out with injury, and the refs blew calls that would have tipped the balance our way. They missed blatant pass interference by Eric Wright on Doug Cosbie, which cost us a fresh set of downs on the 1. Instead, we settled for a field goal. That was 4 points left on the field in a game we lost by 1 point. In our final possession, after "the snatch" play, we were 10 yards from field goal range and had the best kicker in the league when the refs incorrectly ruled a Danny White forward pass a fumble. He was hit as he threw the pass, but his arm was clearly going forward in control of the ball and the ball went forward. On the previous play, White hit Drew Pearson over the middle, and he would have been gone of the TD if Eric Wright hadn't made a tackle by grabbing him with one finger by the horse collar (legal at the time). The games that are super close that you can't prevail in are always the hardest losses.

Same here. I used to be a rabid Cowboy fan, but I had to make myself care less in order to protect my sanity. If you got all emotional about these games, you would end up in the loony bin.

Man...We let more physical teams come into our stadium and disrespect everything. Dallas shrivels up quicker than taking a cold shower if you get my drift. All you have to do is punch them in the mouth. They'll even leave their ball and walk home. SAD.....

We are so SCREWED fellow Dallas fans. This guy has NO fire at all and we want to know why the team is also that way. Your team just let Greenbay come into your house smack your wife and kids then kick your beloved house dog on the way out. And you opened the door and bowed as you let him out. McCarthy response to this " we have a championship team" And the Dallas media SUCK!!! Jane Slater was the only one in there with balls. The rest of those so called men showed trade theirs in. What a load of soft wussy questions they asked McCarthy. Why didn't not one ask him "why is your team so soft mentally and physically" What are you going to do to change this narrative? They didn't ask him anything-thus as news people they are just as soft as he is. Man. If I were not so much a fan I'd hope they go 0-17 just do see Jerry in complete misery for a whole year. But I'm going to do what I can do. Yes. I'll watch but I won't be at any games! I Won't be buying any new Cowboy gear. McCarthy is not a leader-period! So how can he lead a team. He's not fooling the guys in the locker room. Then Mike has the nerve to say these guys love each other:laugh:I'd rather have a team fighting each other everyday then taking the fight to the opponents. Versus a team who loves each other but not enough to show up and fight and play for each other. This org is ran by clowns!!! Starting with the 3 stooges-Jerry-Stephen and McClay. What a bunch of crap Jerry sold us last night and McCarthy continued this morning. Jerry is a no better than a low life car saleman that sales a lemon to an old lady. Knowing the car will stop before she gets it home. Dallas fans are the old lady. Believing him while clearly seeing the car sucks.
Ask me how I feel on June the 1st......................we always knew a YES man would be the HC nothing changing in that Dept.

I feel sick about it, especially after the presser.

Honestly Jerry writing a paragraph to the fans justifying his position on MM was much more sickening

I'm not surprised at all. Nobody should be. Easy as hell to predict the Joneses and McCarthy would double-down on their genius!! Jerry knows if he were to blow up the ship now, he probably won't live long enough to go through another coaching change. It's now or never for him. So in other words, nothing changes EXCEPT that next year's Cowboys are probably going to be less talented or more likely to quit on McCarthy earlier in the season and the team may not even make the playoffs. I view the 2024 Dallas Cowboys as a big roll of duct tape.
Wouldn't it be hilarious if they quit on McCarthy like they did on Phillips back in 2010

Oh I feel absolutely hopeless about this team. It's brutal.

McCarthy won't win anything here. He's a glorified "yes man" that got completely owned Sunday. He gives us no competitive edge or benefit on the field. He is just here because he's the perfect guy that tolerates Jerry.

Many here also knew the limitations that Dak had when he came here years ago and we are still living the pipe dream that he is a special player that we can win with. The fact that we seem likely to continue wasting time with him is beyond frustrating.

The only positive in today's NFL is that it seems like it doesn't take a team as long to rebuild and turn things around as opposed to years past. Unfortunately for us, we have an owner who will never admit he has no clue what he's doing and begin that process. Hell even if we did start to rebuild, he has no idea how to put a winning football team together.
