I'm listening to the local media and Jason Garrett is getting a complete pass for this season and their reasoning is because the team hasn't quit on him and they play hard.

1st of all... They didn't play hard for him all year.

Also they want to keep the same defensive scheme and just get rid of Monte even though every single elite passer we faced this year ripped us a new one.

Now it looks like the Coordinators are going to be the fall guys again and Jason Garrett is going to get to keep his job after having the highest paid roster in the NFL and continuously keeping us mediocre. Even in a year like this one where we should've ended the season for Philly 3 weeks ago.

Now they're going to fire Callahan as well even though that was an obvious mistake from day 1. The guy has evidently gotten sour with a lot of people at valley ranch. Go figure...... IT's only happened at every job he's ever had.

I'm just sick of this crap and the local media has never really bothered me but the complete pass that Jason Garrett is getting has sent me over the edge.

Maybe Norv is out in Cleveland? If so, I would fire Cal in a minute and hire Norv as the OC.

I don't think Norv wants to come here and be the OC for Garrett. Just a guess, but i thought someone posted this last year when Norv was let go by SD.

Why not? He has about as much a chance to be a HC again as Wade Phillips. Not going to happen. :D

I'm listening to the same thing my man. These guys are complete stooges as well. Wait for Bob Sturm at noon. He says they should fire JG.

I keep going to NFL.com to see if we are on the verge of firing this guy. We could literally bring back Wade for one year, on an interim basis, while we find the right candidate and I would be fine with it. That's how much I despise this bum!

Would you bring back Campo? Do you despise the RHG that much? :D

I know, man, it's crazy. I've never seen anything like the protection this guy gets. When Wade was here, even when we did better than 8-8, he was a total buffoon who didn't know what he was doing and had no business coaching this team. Now with less winning and worse performances, Garrett is a great guy doing as well as possible and it's all on Jerry or the players or the assistants. They think as long as the players don't absolutely lay down, he should stay as long as he wants. Never mind getting the most out of our talent on the field, which is the standard of every other coach in the world.

Why they love him so much I can't possibly explain. I know they like him from the Glory Days and/or because they think he's such a swell guy, but their objectivity has been completely tossed out the window. It really is like we're in this Bizarro World bubble, because when you look at the national media, they're plenty willing to call him out. The difference locally is almost hard to believe.

If it would guarantee getting rid of him and his awful offense I would. He's just not cut out to be a HC. There is nothing wrong with that. I don't understand why Jerry doesn't give him an executive job or something to save face.

I think that would be a good move on Jerry's part but I doubt the RHG would go for it. I actually believe that Garrett would be a great GM/personnel guy.

I would like to hire some coaches that have figured out how to win in today's NFL instead of bringing in every pushover the Browns, Bengals, and Lions decide to let go.

if you swing for garrett's solar plexus you hit campo in the face

that is pretty much the only difference between them

Lol! :)

I think Garrett is better Monday through Saturday than Campo ever was but on Sundays I think they are comparable in their inefficiency.

I agree. I'm actually intrigued by someone like Art Briles.

On a positive note, is JG only under contract for 1 more year? Hard to see Jerry extending him if he produces another 8-8 season

same here. people are crying about an offense that scored the 4th most points in the league.

that alone is twilight zone material.
