I got robbed for Christmas - literally

While I was gone for Christmas, I was robbed. I got back from my sisters just before the game yesterday. I had left my car home cuz it had been running bad and I didn't want to get stuck somewhere and had hitched a ride with my folks... I got in my car a little while ago to go to the store, went to put my Boston CD on and my stereo was gone! I went into my townhouse to get the SN info for the police and it turns out that they got into my townhouse through the back patio too... All total, I lost... 30 CD's in a case, CD Car Stereo, 1 laptop, a jewelry box w/ 1 diamond and ruby heart pendant and worst of all... mine and my late husbands Wedding rings and my lock box with birth certificates, death certificates, etc...

The good news.... The didn't get my Boston CD....

I'm ready for the new year now... 2004 can take a flying leap....

probably won't.. the lockbox had all the serial numbers for everything in it. Oh well... could have been a lot worse seeing as they got into my place. the kids are ok and i'm ok and that is all that really matters in the long run.

You would be right. You have no idea how bad it really was ..I'm very ready for 2004 to be over and get a fresh start on 2005.. Can only get better...

nope, they didn't get my ultra ultra low rise jeans... and they didn't get my new Sony digital movie camera either... funny but it was sitting on my computer chair cuz I was gonna take it to my sisters... they missed it...LOL

They musta been Jeff Gordon and Commander fans cuz they didn't take any of my Cowboys stuff or my Dale Earnhardt stuff... which were all more valuable than the other stuff put together... All autographed stuff still where they were.

All I care about getting back is the lock box with the certificates in it... I've already called the banks, social security, V.A, and the Court House to make sure nobody can steal his ID. Everything else can be replaced in time and I'm not a very materialistic person.

Yeah.. we did win the election That was definately a bright spot

Besides, Juke just happens to have the same things that were stolen for a cheap price...LOL

hey, no kidding..my mom is so trusting that one time she took her grandchild to the Bronx Zoo...while there, someone stole her battery...a few minutes after she got back to the car, and saw the hood popped a few kids came by selling......a BATTERY....amazing...she paid ten bucks...and TIPPED them for installing it...

Came home to tell me how sweet they were...and how lucky she was...

I didn't have nuttin to do with it!!!

As for my whereabouts, I'm in Newport News, VA until tomorrow morning when I'm on a flight back to Seattle... I have to be on the boat tomorrow night and we leave for our 6 month deployment in mid-January..
